Furnishings in the room were dated. Host did not speak any English but we managed to communicate when she rang her son to translate via phone.

The location was a big plus - just a short walk from the train station. Dino and David were excellent hosts and they got out of their way to help.

Right in the centre of Siena, ask for an apartment, worth the money. Owner was very helpful and insightful about the Palio. Cleaned daily, lovely staff. Made our stay perfect!

This is a nice old apartment building where a few rooms have been converted into a hotel. The room/bathroom were pretty clean, but the floor was dusty. Within a quick walk of the old city. I would recommend it.

The room is very nicely decorated with a couple of old armchairs and nice, if old, carpets, giving it a more lush feel than we were expecting. The location is excellent as it is very close by the railway station in Siena, although if one is arriving by bus at plaza gramsci then it is further away, about 15-20 min walk, as the casa is outside the historical centre and city walls.
