adorable family run hostel, the staff was amazing and helpful kitchen is super equipped with everything you can think of i spent there 4 night instead of 2 the only problem is that its up the hill and far from the beach, so you need a taxi which costs 4000 colones to get to the beach.

This is a wonderful place to experience, with platforms up in the trees, beautiful wood floors, spacious well-equipped kitchen, and wonderful hosts who make the stay pleasant and comfy. But it's not for everyone, if you're not comfortable with rustic, open concept, in the forest. The waterfalls and pool close by are a lovely refreshing treat, and showed me that pura vida Costa Rica can still be found outside the massive resorts and commercial parks that have locked up much of the free access.

The hostel is astonishingly beautiful. Gorgeous view from the deck and balcony, large, comfy rooms, near the Uvita waterfall, secluded in the jungle, and a ridiculously well-equipped hostel kitchen... What else could one ask for? Julie and Stefan are extremely helpful and nice, and we hope to be back someday :)

Awesome group of folks!!! Very accommodating. The town was booked for best fest and they let us crash on the hammocks for the night... The rest of the hostels wouldn't even accommodate the idea. If it wasn't for Julie (the owner) we would have been stuck sleeping on the street.

Charming, secluded and a destination of itself. A bit of a walk from town.

I have stayed at several hostels all around the world. This is the best. Beds are comfortable. The design of the hostel is well integrated with the landscape and gives you the feeling of being in the jungle. You wake up to howler monkeys and singing birds. Very peaceful and tranquil. Stayed two nights but would recommend a stay of at least four or five nights.

most precious hostel in an amazing setting. I was speechless upon arrival (doesn't happen a lot), and as I had only one night booked (planned as a stopover to travel further south), I really enjoyed every single second of my stay. this place has a special vibe to it. don't come if you're in to loud parties and big crowds, unless the crowds can be butterflies and the loud parties can be birds and crickets.

The hostel is a bit far from everything but it's really worth it if you just want to relax and enjoy the jungle. Everything is really good, from the facilities to the staff. I'd definitely recommend it.

New owners. The place was awesome. Only problem is how far it is from the beach and the town.
