Petrina, the person who runs the hostel is extremely helpful. Thanks to her, the hostels\' living quarters and public areas are kept tidy and clean. The hostels is very conveniently located: 5 minutes away from the famous castle and only 2 minutes away from the main street full of restaurants and shops.

Another nice little stay in this quiet hostel in Cashel. I use it as a base for when I work in the area.

The hostel is located in Cashel\'s city center (Cashel is very small and more or less everything is in the city center). The lady at the reception was very friendly. We booked a 2 bed room and got a 4 bed room. Rather a disadvantage, because of the bunk beds. There was no electrical plug in the room (!!). Sometimes it was hard to get hot water. Everything is rather old. Nevertheless the price of 23€ per night per person in a 2 bed room was ok and we enjoyed staying in Cashel.

If you book a private room you pay more money then for a dorm... we are normally just booking dorms, but this time we tried to have like a little privacy and we only got a 4 bed dorm for ourselves which just ruined the total atmosphere. Sorry but i don't think we're going there again.

not busy, only one in the hostel but it served its purpose, i had a place to shower (although it was not very good or easy to operate) and a place to sleep

Very friendly staff, great outside patio area, free wifi. Rooms were a little run-down and bathroom was a little run-down, but everything was clean. Like a lot of places in Ireland, they heat with open coal fires, which made me a little sick. Lots to see and do in Cashel and everything within close walking distance. Rock of Cashel was very nice, although covered in scaffolding.

great place! I had a wonderful time staying here. Location is right in the middle of town, and staff were very helpful in suggestions for sightseeing. Loved the relaxed atmosphere.

I came here for one night and it was such a serene evening. I was tired from traveling, and it was nice to stop at a place that was so lovely and the people so warm. The owners were all incredibly kind and gracious and helped me with all my many traveling questions. The room was impeccably clean and very comfortable. The energy in this hostel is very positive, I believe because of the beautiful people that run it. I highly recommend.
