About Castanea Old Town Hostel
Welcome to Castanea Old Town Hostel, one of the most central hostels in Stockholm. Only 200 meters from the Royal Palace and near tourist attractions, shops, cafes and restaurants. Castanea is also close to Central station – only one stop with the underground.
Castanea is a small personal hostel, located at one of The Old Towns narrow and cobble stoned streets. With a beautiful horse chestnut tree at a small square just outside. We have 55 beds, in single rooms, twin rooms, 4- and 6-bedded rooms and one dormitory. We have a popular kitchen for your own cooking. Showers and toilets in the corridor.
Sheets and towels could be hired – or you can bring your own. Please note that either way bed linen must be used. Sleeping bags are not allowed due to hygienic reasons.
In Castanea smoking is not allowed, nor is animals. Open all year.
Check-in: 15.00-18.00.
