Line and her mother were both kind enough to pick me up and drop me off in the next village over where there's more bus services. This is definitely more of a relaxing hostel to enjoy the quiet quaint French country side - there was only me and 1 other gentlemen in the whole place. Beds were comfortable and everything is clean. There's a little grocery store a few doors down so you can make your own meals in the little kitchen.
This place reeks (in a good way) of old France. Excellent rooms, clean, comfortable, quiet and full of history. The young blond lady at the desk/bar was super nice and made the stay so much better. A little hard to find but worth the effort if you are a history buff. Very clean and the bar seems to have an interesting cast of regulars.
We arrived late and only stayed one night. As long as you have a car the area is absolutely beautiful. The staff were very attentive and made sure we found it (we arrived late in a massive storm). We'd have liked to stay longer - great value for money.
The hostel was great, no problems what so ever.
