Since we came just outside the main tourist season there really was nothing to do in G itself, all the locals seem to pack up and leave with the tourists. But it is a lovely area in a beautiful country, Keszthely isn't far at all, the appartment itself was a lot more than what we expected - very happy in that department. The language barrier is a huge problem. We were charged more than double of the deal on Internet. Luckily the doughter happend to pass by and solved the problem for us. But for the second half of our staying (we went for 1 night to Budapest) we had to share bathroom in spite of having booked a room with private bathroom. Being the rooms soooo tidy, the kitchen and living areas so well equiped and confortable we ended up having an overall good impression. Very nice place to stay. We had a nice flat in a huge house (we had to share the kitchen with some other persons), very clean, located not far away from the beach, and the lady who is renting is lovely (but be aware that if you don't speak hungarian or at least a little bit of german, the communication will be quite hard.)
