This place is on the beach, however we opted to stay in the hotel part instead of the huts (being extremely hot atm). When we arrived at the huts address via rickshaw, a man barely speaking English greeted us. I told him we didn't want to stay in the huts, but he didn't understand. So we looked up the booking and called Castello. He arrived and told us that the hotel part (pictures on HW) is 'being renovated' and is NOT available. To his credit, he returned the deposit paid on HW and left.

A double room with shower, 1.5-minutes walk from the beach, for 400Rs a night? Its the best deal I got in India since I arrived here. Castello's beach huts are the closest to the beach in Benaulim, and, as far as I know now, the most affordable, too. The staff is vigilant and helpful, and the owner is a charming bear of a man. It's a 10-min walk to the main street in Benaulim for groceries, and, in season time, there are restaurants on the beach to accomodate any eating habit and schedule.

Wifi is difficult to get in the area. The owner turns on the wifi only 30 minutes during evening time. Otherwise, you have to pay 100 roupies to have it. A part from that, i really enjoyed the calm atmosphere of this beach. Good location and quality for the price.

Castello's Tourist Nest is awesome. we booked a double room and the owner gave us the choice of the room or a beach hut. Of course we took a beach hut. The beach huts are kept simple and have shower and toilet aside. The owner is very relaxed and a honest man. The beach restaurant of Castello serves very good food for a good price. Thumbs up.

I stayed one night at the Nest and three nights at the beach huts which are not bookable online but are managed by the same owner. The huts are right on the beach and nice. The Nest is in town and very far from beach. The owner is really nice and can accomodate your needs.

also called castello's coco huts, 1min walk to the beach and beach restaurants, staff are awesome and very friendly and the rooms are great value for money. they are very basic and hot during the day but cool to cold during the night time...get up early to beat the retiree's to the sun beds though!

Costellos Tourist Nest is about 50 meters from the beach, so it is ideal for people wanting some nice R&R in the sun. The cafe is right there, too, so you can order beer and food all day long without having to move from your sun bed. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. The huts are small and not very comfortable, but they were fine with me because I spent all my time on the beach. Most huts do not have an attached bathroom. This place is cheap and friendly, if that is what you want!

I think the location of the Castello's touist nest is excellent. It is near the beach where we exactly wanted to hang out and enjoy together. The nest had both the AC and the Non-AC huts which is a very excellent idea and is very much affordable. Hats of to Mr. Castello for making such a thing. The food and the hospitality of the people was very awesome. I have recommended to many friends about the Casetello's tourist nest.. It is a very nice and a Beautiful place. Thank You

After 6 weeks in the chaos of India, we came back to Costello's to chill out again. Incredible value for money, a short walk from dozens of temporary bamboo restaurants and bars on the beach, and fall asleep listening to the waves crashing. The owner is an incredible character, once again we wish him the best of luck.

A truthful location would be better, along with an improved attitude from the owner.
