The beds in this hostel are very comfortable. Though the space between the bunks is narrow and the ladders for the top bunk is positioned badly, making it difficult for someone getting into the bottom bunk. Breakfast is good. Bathrooms are good and the quilited toilet paper (something I've never seen in a hostel) is a nice addition. Hostel owner is friendly. Good place to stay and not far from Bella Vista

Top Hostel! Amazingly clean, good breakfast with home made jam. Our room was really quiet with great beds. Jonathan, the owner was always very helpful (ask to see Duke his skateboarding dog!). The only possible issue I could have with this hostel is that is is quite an old building, so the floors creak in some places, but I would stay here any time.

This has been by far the best Hostel we have stayed in South America. Jonathan and Valentina have raised the bar with Castillo Surfista. Clean and chilled environment in an immaculate old house, great breakfasts, byo bbqs with all the guests and a skateboarding dog made our stay so enjoyable we came back and stayed again.

The owner is very welcoming, if a little awkward. The place is brand new, so everything is in perfect working order. It has a very relaxed atmosphere, and as an aside, the bedding is super awesome. My only complaint is under amenities they list themselves as having ceiling fans, and I didn't find that to be the case. Overall, a very worthwhile stay though.

thanks . I'll always be awkward but the technical mistake about having ceiling fans in the hostelworld page has been corrected.

This was by far one of my favorite hostels. I felt like I was at home, not because of the area, but because of the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and facilities, and because of the general atmosphere in the hostel.

I had a great stay here- the place is really comfortable, tons of space, and a great patio. Best thing thought, the location- it's an easy walk to Bellavista where all the fun is to be found at night, but the street itself is really quiet and in a nice neighbourhood, so when you do want to sleep you can really sleep! I can tell you that was a welcome relief from the noise of Bellavista itself or other hostels in the centre.. happy travels!
