it's just a nightmare! First, as it turned out, "how to get" was written for a different hostel (which was called "Knight" and was located on another street: Rüütli 16). secondly, by specifying the address (Vaimu 2a) we have not opened (we called unsuccessfully for 10 minutes) and had to quickly find another hostel. Thirdly, I am outraged by the loss of the money given for the booking (((

AVOID. No signalization at the building, hostelworld info lists two different addresses, no reception, the phone is always disconnected, they didn't even bother to answer my emails... I literally wasn't able to enter the building. The good classifications this got at the beginning smell very fishy to me... JUST TOO BAD

We arrived and rang the doorbell and knocked for about 15-20 minutes with no answer in the minus 9 weather (arrived at 6pm in Tallinn). After the 30 mining mark, we decided to turn on roaming and call the number of the hostel. This guys picked up after a while and it sounded like he just woke up. He said someone would be there on 25-30 minutes to open the door. After that, though noone was there, they gave us lads a double instead of twin that we asked in booked as they 'lost' the key. Avoid.

This was one of the worst hostels I've ever stayed at. The bathrooms were extremely dirty, there were still old sheets lying around in the room and the whole hostel just seemed not taken care of. One of the showers was not even working. There is no reception, you can't lock the rooms and they didn't even have change so that I ended up paying more simply because they had no small money. Furthermore, it's at a different address than indicated. I think for a similar price you'll find better places

-Nearly impossible to find. -No reception; I was greeted by a shirtless man and I had to ask if it was a hostel. -Different name from my booking; It's called Knight Hostel, not Castle Lodge. -Poorly maintained. Seems like it was updated years ago and has not been kept up. Maintenance issues everywhere, actually to many to list here, but the entry light being out was what bothered me most; it was too dark without it. -Not clean. Nothing was cleaned in the three nights I was there.

We booked this hotel online for 10th of Jan, when we arrived from the airport, nobody opened the door, nor answered the phone. It was later than 11 pm, and we had to look for another hostel, that was really tough because of the late time. The next day we were trying to reach the manager, but he never answered his phone. We emailed him for money refund, but as you understand - no replies or apologizes.
