Decent hostel a couple blocks from the main street. It was pretty empty when I was there. Showers were hot, beds comfortable, fast wi-fi. Good breakfast. They'll help you organise whatever tours you want to do in the area (all are expensive and prices are the same no matter where you go). They also pick up from the bus station and drop you off, which is amazing and at no extra charge!

The breakfast was huge! The hostel is great value for money and the staff can help organise trips. You can hire bikes here too which is great!

nice hostel in an excellent location....just round the corner from the main street. The staff are friendly and helpful. We booked the Rio de Prata trip through the hostel and the trip was excellent. The hostel also organised us to go with another couple so the transport was cheaper. We also hired bikes and cycled to Balneario Municipal, the bikes were of good quality. The rooms were basic but clean and the breakfast was delicious! So many cakes and breads!

Went with them on a trip to Santa Clara (Pantanal), which was fine by itself. However, they promised that I would be able to get a R$60 transfer back from Pantanal to Campo Grande and that I would arrive there at about 17:00. This was actually not the case, and we were left to ourselves at the side of the road. We managed to get to Campo Grande, but only arrived there at 23:00. For the rest it is an okay hostel. Just have them write down their promises...

Catarino's is a great place! I would definately stay there again. Catarino and Lu are very nice. Big breakfast with lots of cakes. Great location. They sell 2 pantanal packages and I don't recommend the one i bought: lontra pantanal. Santa clara is probably better. Lontra pantanal is very disorganized and the manager is very rude. Since you are in an isolated farm, you have nowhere else to go and he feels he can treat you however he wants. U stay hours without doing anything.

That's a nice guesthouse, with very good location and excellent breakfast. You can rent bikes there for a whole day for 15 reais and the snooker table is available until 10 PM for free. The staff was very cool and tried to help us as much as possible. We recommend this place.
