The staff are VERY nice and helpful

Very good hostel. Very friendly, with excellent rooms, nice view, confortable and clean toilets. The only defect: the beds are not in the same level of the rest of the stuff.

Location is great. But, there is no personal locker in the dorm.

Noise insulation could have been better.

Nice Hostel. The staff was excellent and very obliging. We felt very comfortable. Although it is placed on a huge street, it is calm. We had a very good stay.

Thank You for having us in the Heart of Budapest. Climbing those stairs more than four times a day, is the only negative thing i can come 2 think of. (well the WiFi wasnt the fastest but our mission wasn´t staying indoors surfing all Day...) All things concidered if/when we return to Budapest, we'll make shure to contact Caterina first. great hostel in center of budapest

Amazing hostel and staff! Stayed here for 1week in own room/ensuite. Very inexpensive for what is provided. The room was spacious with a nice bathroom. I practically had my own kitchen, since I had no neighbors at the time. The location can't get better, it's in the middle of the city. You're within walking distance to everything to see in Budapest! The woman who run's this hostel is great! She provided us with a travel book to Budapest, told us all the hotspots and was very friendly!!

Superb Hostel, nice cozy friendly hostel right in the center of town , friendly helpful staff , my room was very big , very clean , I would recommend this hostel Christina

a kindly nice place to stay staff is verry helpful and friendly You have to be carefull when searching the adress becouse there isw a small table which shows hostels name but a good place to stay

The staff was very desorganised, they hadn't have the reservation and neither the two rooms available. Other than that, the hostel wasn't very clean, the towels wan't ok, and the staff didn't know what to do about that. And the fotographs they put in hostelworld website wasn't clearly what it looks like.

The place was dirty, the windows were broken, the bads were terrible. Three floors with no elevator.

It was a pit tough to climb the stares with heavy luggage to the 4th floor, but the location is excellent and just for sleeping there a night or two it is OK.

The place was very clean, the staff was very informative and polite- i think the girl's name was aniko? she was lovely! The place itself doesn't have much activities going on but is very well located. One small thing: get ready for going up the stairs every day 3 floors with no elevator!

The room was extremely dirt! Bed sheets look like they were from 20 years ago, look dirt and do not fit the bed! They cover only half bed! It was a bit disgusting really. The guy who runs the place is really nice though and very helpful. Still I couldn't get over the poor quality/cleaness of the place.

The hostel is smack bang in the best area in Budapest, really easy to find but its up 4 flights of stairs so if you have a lot of bags bring someone that will help you carry. Its VERY cheap and good quality for money, staff are REALLY informative and welcoming.

Very dirty hostel. Terrible beds. Breakfast is toast with 1 jam only and coffee/tea. Bad smell. Host was nice but had poor personal hygiene.

If i came back to budapest first i would try to find a bed at Caterina Hostel. The place is well located, very quite, good price and cleaned. I did not like only the look of the key because it s a kind of look that can be opened with the same key for all the most of door. Anyway i stay well at the Caterina Hostel and i recommend it at who need a good place to sleep (i took a twin room with batromm inside).
