The only hostel in this price range with breakfast. Toast, coffee, tea, cheese or jelly or jam. A nice place in the middle of everything that is Budapest! Enjoy the walk up original stairs to a rooftop view over the cinema.

There were no lockers which was a big minus. Toilets and showers were really clean and new. Beds were quite uncomfortable but for the one night we stayed and for the money we spent they served okay. Location was really great. A big grocery store was downstairs and metro station also really close.

At the beginning is not easy to see the hostel cause the written outside is not so evident but once you are in, you definetelly love the building and the location is perfect.

The night staff was excellent! Spacious, neat, and well equipped. I take off a bit for cleanliness as smoking is permitted outside of open windows so the rooms can get unpleasant. Breakfast is toast and jam or spreadable cheese w/ coffee or tea, but the kitchen is well equipped and some breakfast is more than none!

It was a pleasent stay at Caterina Hostel & Guesthouse. Our 2 persons room was spacious and clean and peaceful enough for sleeping althought the window was on the street side. Small basic breakfast was a good start for the day. Staff was also very nice and liked to chat a little :)

Very nice staff. Location is extremely comfortable. Just 30 seconds to tram station, 10 min walk to Nyugati station. And of course VERY CHEAP ACCOMODATION.

The hostel is on the main business street between the subway stations of the yellow line and blue line, a supermarket is just downstairs, everything is so close within the walking distance, perfect location. The stuff was very friendly. I'll definitely stay back again.

I booked single private ensuite room. When we arrived to hostel they offered room without lock on bedroom door. So anyone could entrance to room when we were outside. Strange. A Little bit dirty bathroom without toilet paper.

Nice little hostle with just a few rooms and a nice and helpful staff. There is even some kind of breakfast.. :-) Nothing special but incredibly cheap.

It's located in a really old building, which kind of scary but i think it was "hungarian". the room was old but clean. The staffs are friendly and chatty. they have everything you need(clean bath, kitchen, free breakfast, computer), but you wouldn't expect too much from this hostel, the price is really cheap.

Staff was very friendly, chatty and helpful. The hostel is located in a cool building, huge and old with roomy staircases where we sat to have breakfast while looking into a typical Budapest backyard. It's also a clean place. Thus all in all very good value. However, if you're looking for something individual in design and cosiness, this is not the right choice. Also the worn out blankets and their synthetic covers were (usable but) quite... let's say charmless. No lockers, so stuff your socks.
