Nice hostel, but kind of inconveniently located outside of center of city and away from the beaches. Also pretty quiet at night if you're looking to go out.

Fantastic stay at Caveland! Staff was super friendly and accommodating.

As everyone has already written, it is a bit out of the way, in a quiet part of the Island. The property is very nice, with plenty of space to relax . I was alone in my dorm, so it was like having a private room. Breakfast is basic, but who cares when you have a swimming pool, terrace, very nice courtyard and nice dogs to play with? Staff was very helpful and friendly.

We stayed in a double cave. Bed was cumfortable. Cave land is a bit out of Fira the Capital so either a bus, long walk or hire an ATV (there are hire places within 5min walk) to get around the island. Staff was very helpful and there was four dogs that were cute and fun to have around.

This hostel was great- staff friendly, very clean, and very cute place. If you are looking to stay in Fira though, it's about a 25 min walk to town. For beaches, renting an ATV would be most appropriate- it would not be feasible to walk.

nice place, unique rooms. had kitchen and free breakfast. met some nice people there. was a bit dead when i went, but i could imagine in the peak season it being an awesome place. had one cold shower, but it was fixed the next day. a small walk away from the city area but you should rent an atv anyway

This was one of the best hostel stays I've had. The atmosphere was great, and more than helpful staff. It's about a 1km walk to Thira but that wasnt an issue for us, you can rent a moto or ATV close by for a reasonable price. Great place, we were sad to leave and we would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Nice place but the studio was not well equiped and the staff not really welcoming with all the sticks about the towels and all other rules

Great character and a good location. Friendly staff and dogs. Shower was almost unusable and the pool was not open while we were there.

If you want character, this place certainly has it! Very cool setup in the old caves of a vineyard. However a few things let this place down. Firstly the showers, out of 6 attempts, I had 2 hot showers. Wifi is very ordinary inside the rooms, struggle to get reception. Location is quite away out of Fira, looking at a decent 30min walk to town. However there is an amazing bakery and supermarket close by. Not a lot of options for cheap accomodation in Santorini but this is a good option.

The staff is knowledgeable and really friendly. It was a bit of a walk since I got off at the wrong bus stop, but without my backpack, the walk was actually pretty nice and breezy. The directions listed on the site are really easy to follow, so that was great.

Would definitely recommend! Had an awesome stay. Probably one of the best hostels I've ever been to. Friendly staff (personally showed us around the Fira), amazing rooms and facilities- seriously. Caves were nice and cool despite the heat outside. Location was good- a little removed from Fira town which I preferred because it meant it was less expensive and you got to explore other parts of the island. about a 20 minute easy walk from Fira. Good value for your money!

It's not well located, if you want to be in the center, Fira is the place. But what you can do is rent a car or quad. If you go in off season it's cheap! Then you can run the role island in just one day with you want... Then doesn't matter the location! Because the place is awesome, calm, clean, relaxing! When coming back to Santorini, will be there again!

Caveland is an excellent value. The communal kitchen is roomy and conducive to meeting other guests. Our host (Simon) was accomading, hard working and helpful in making our visit a pleasure. One unusual compliant: the hot water was plentiful but too hot!

I would change your Caveland sign in from of the driveway. I came in at night when it was pitch dark and could not read it, so I thought it was a piece of wood. So I walked right past Caveland and didn't even know it!

I was very impressed. The staff was super helpful and kind. It's very clean, and the rooms are large and interesting. It's not really that far from the center, and I felt very safe walking alone at night. I highly recommend Caveland.

Couldn't have been happier with Caveland. Our cave was one of the four bed female dorms and it was beautifully decorated. In addition to bunk beds, there was a larger area with couches, a bathroom, and a space for storing food. Yiannis was fantastic, giving us a thorough idea of things to do on the island and even took us to the bus stop in Fira when we left to make sure we'd have a good seat on the way to the port. Great place! I will definitely be back if I ever find myself in Santorini again!
