This great riad is run by a wonderful gentleman and nothing is too much trouble. Set in a beautiful building, in a perfect location it really is a gem!

Hotspot! We stayed for only one night but we were impressed by the quality of the place and the attention of the staff. It is really good value for money and you will be at the heart of the Medina. Breakfast is a treat!

This was a beautiful, relaxing, place to stay. The staff were very friendly, displaying the warmth of the Moroccan people. Our room was lovely - clean, colourful and with a great charm. A stairs that leads to a second bed above the bathroom! The breakfast was very good, a great way to prepare for a lovely walk on the beach. If we went back to Essaouira we would certainly stay here again. Shochran! Ana & Liam

Location was great, right in the medina, close to all of the souks and the beach. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good. Room was large (we even had an extra bed in a loft space) but the bathroom was very damp so nothing dried in there and it made the room a bit damp too. We liked Essouira and Caverne d'Ali Baba so much we ended up adding 2 nights to our stay.

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff especially the owner are extremely friendly and helpful. Good location for beach and medina. Beautiful traditonal riad. Couldnt get enough of the pancakes at breakfast. The only problem which turned out to be an issue was the dampness in the rooms

It's an amazing place to stay, really beautiful inside, a central location and friendly stuff. I'm really happy I've chosen this location :-)

The upper floor room with window to a backstreet was smelling "wet". Check the bathroom first. Otherwise a very nice hotel with good location and a very helpful staff.

I really loved this place! Perfect location, helpful and friendly staff, beautiful furniture and rooms with character, lovely breakfast with fresh orange juice and pastries. I would love to stay here again and would definitely recommend you to try it. From the bus station you can take a petit taxi for aroung 10Dirham and then you walk straight, across a sort of square and under an arch for maybe 2 minutes. Really lovely - thank you for a great two nights!

In a month-long tour of Morocco, the Caverne was the best place I stayed! I was sick while I was there, and so ended up spending lots of time at the hotel. It was absolutely charming! Hanafi (front desk manager) went above and beyond to make sure I was we'll taken care of. The restaurant rarely had customers while I was there, yet somehow they managed to produce a full menu of tasty options at a moment's notice. My room had a working fireplace!! The craftsmanship is excellent. No complaints.

Very friendly staff, lovely breakfast, beautifully decorated room with lots of character. This was by far the nicest place we stayed in Morocco, and very reasonably priced.

Hanofy the manager cheerfully and quickly complied with our requests.. for more heat. It is self contained in that during a terrible thunder storm, we had a great dinner in the hotel dining room without getting wet. It is also on the main drag in the Medina. He also gave us suggestions on what to visit.
