U get what u pay for here! The bed linen smelt of damp and the beds were very rickety but comfy. The drain in the 8 bed dorm bathroom flooded the floor and left a horrid smell, so waiting for a shower in the 1 remaining bathroom was a farce. The man I met on arrival wasnt welcoming at all but the other staff were nice. There is a security guard & lockers but I think u need a padlock (I didn't use them). Ok for a stopover but go elsewhere if ur there longer, I stayed 1 night and left for Bohol!

All the ambiance of east LA. Two travelers had 500 Euros stolen from a secret pocket in a backpack in a locked private room my first day there. Dirtiest place I've ever been to, and I've spent a lot of time in the cheapest hostels in SE Asia. You want toilet paper? Not today, brother. Ants, however, can be arranged. Two staff members were quite helpful, but the rest were either rude or didn't know what was going on. A huge departure from the other places Ive stayed in the Philippines.

Mosquitos. Too many mosquitos in the dorm. The hostel is in a convenient location, close to Ayala, SM Cebu, Carbon Market, Santo Nino Basilica, Magellan's Cross ... Good place to stay, but bring your insect repellant!

There's a reason they forbid food and drink in the rooms! I bought some basic groceries at the store and kept them in a bag there in the room and when I woke up there had been a mouse raiding party the night before! It's okay overall, though. You definitely want flip flops when you and take a shower, also. The staff are nice and there's always a security guard out front at the gate.

I stayed in the dormitory, and it was quite a decent place to touch down for a couple of days. There are no locks on the doors (neither front nor room), but supposedly a guard at the gate at all times. Based on my own experience I don’t really trust this though.

Without a doubt worst hostel I have stayed at.I had read the reviews previously before booking so I knew what to expect this hostel seemed like the best out of a bad bunch. Me and my mate booked a private room because it was cheaper, the room had bunk beds which moved so much anytime one of us moved the sheets were stain and toliets really dirty.I found the staff to be unhelpful telling us the wrong info about ferries etc. The one good thing I can say is good quick laundry servies.

although it's not one of the best hostels i've been too it was the best out of all the places i check in cebu. good location except it's in the red light district. the staff are friendly and helpful. there are lockers but you must bring your own lock. hot water showers, wifi and ac. everything i need in a hostel.

when we arrived our room and all the bunkbeds were a mess and there was rubbish on the floor and in the batroom trascan we tought there where a total if 8 people in the room but found out it was just the 3 of us. they only cleaned our beds and left the other one all messed up untill other people arrived. 2 days later the trashcan was still full and de cockroaches where walking in our room. not so nice. think the last time the REALY cleaned the room and shower must be months ago.

I was glad to find this hostel. The city of Cebu is one to pass through and not a great place to stay for a single woman traveling alone. This place isn't new, but they've definitely made an effort to make it welcoming and comfortable.
