Great hostel, friendly staff. Only problems are smallish accommodations, but I'm 6'3" and was fine, and the walls can be thin. But for hostels, it's exactly what you should expect (and the staff make it better).

We had a great time in the hostel for 3 nights: beds and rooms were perfect, breakfast good as well, staff, etc. Just, I would like to suggest, the possibility to add in the rooms lockers, or under the bunks cages to put your stuff and lock it. In this way, you can feel relax every time you leave the hostel.

Hostel is very clean. Owner is very nice and friendly. Staff multicultural and breakfast perfect. Although fridays and saturdays are full of party people and noise so if you need some rest and good night sleep watch out for weekends:)

Excellent service, helpful accomodating friendly staff. Room tiny, but adequate. Bedroom floor could have used a mopping though, especially in corners.

Walls are too thin, the beds are not comfortable. Sleeping was impossible as the rooms are very cold and you can hear every single word spoken in the rooms next to you. I paid 112,-€ for 2 nights and 2 persons in a very tiny room with a tiny bunk-bed. For the same money, you can have a nice cosy B&B in Galway as well. In my opinion this hostel is not worth its money.

Due to poor insulation and a miniature radiator, our room was very cold. The showers were alright, although the rooms were also cold and on the second floor, the wall between two toilets/shower rooms doesn't reach the ceiling which makes using them a bit awkward. The staff was overall friendly, some of them spoke more English than others and occasionally it was hard to figure out who's staff and who's a guest. Great location tho!

Great small hostel with lovely atmosphere. The citchen has everything you need to cook and has enough space, too. After reading the comments we expected the hostel to be dirtier than it actually was – there is no reason for critics.

Let's see my room was freezing cold all night even with the heaters on, the windows need replacing badly. The quarters were the most cramped quarters Ive ever stayed at a hostel before, definately not staying here again. Ive paid a lot less at other hostels and recieved a lot more. The staff was friendly, I just cant in good conscience recommend this place.

If you want to know what it's cold go there. I remembered the first night here, I thought that I would freeze to death. Also showers are really small and there's no hot water either in the morning or evening. However, there's nic livingroom and kitchen. But beds really make noise. For one night why not but for the whole weekend never more...

It was very cold, because the windows let through all the cold and wind from outside and the heating wasn't working very good. Especially our small room was very cold with two windows, bad heating and thin blankets for the night.

We had a very nice time here, meet some people from all over the world. The hostel is located in the centre of Galway so you could go to all tourist attractions in not more than 15 min.

the staff were really warm and friendly, very kindly let us check out nearly an hour late too. stayed in a double room with bunk beds, heater, plug to charge phone and washbasin. it was a small room, just the bed and space on the floor beside it, but suited our needs well and of course we could lock everything away when we went out. the breakfast was simple but gave the basics that you could supplement with your own stuff. A great variety of tea - redbush, green mint and black tea.

Wonderful staff, clean, next to the main square and bus station. There's no double beds but twin beds, though. I'd recommend it to a friends group, definetly.

The twin room was like a shoe box, say that was small is not even closer. Share toilets needier cleaning, only two showers on the floor and one wasn't working. Too expensive for what it's offered.
