helpful, easy-going staff, good location, and I found it very easy to contact the hostel before arriving there for directions and check-in time.

Everything was ok, just the price of 22,- EUR for a night, seems some expensive. Otherwise was ok, breakfast and accomodation goods!

I stayed only one night at the Celtic Tourist Hostel with my friend, but it was great! Declan was wonderful, kind, and informative! Right off the main street in Galway and easy to get to.

Closed for a period and then re-opened, it really doesn't worth the money it asks. 27 euro for a 2x1,70m double room private. With plastic pillows and a highschool gym materass. The kitchen is horrible and cancer-pans provided. We have to undo our beds and bring everything down.

Celtic hostel was FANTASTIC!! I definitely recommend it for anyone staying in Galway. Everyone of the staff was so VERY accomodating, helpful, and kind. Every areas (Kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms) were clean. The atmosphere was pleasant with people hanging out talking and playing guitar at night. I had a terrific experience there!

No parking available !!! Staff didn't really have a clue. Breakfast was very basic. The room was very small and when trying to close the window it nearly fell down.

Great location, Cheap enough. Everything else was pretty run of the mill standard. Bit of a pricey key deposit of 20euro though.

The rooms for 2 are very very small. We complained and got a slightly bigger room which was ok in the end.

Really enjoyed my stay! Had a nice chat with the owner, and the staff was accommodating and helpful. Got a good nights' sleep, satisfying breakfast and the best part is it's so close to all the fun but still kinda private. Very nice. Thanks a million!

I was satisfied with the hostel in general. But I was always freezing in the kitchen, even though I was wearing a wolly jumper. I´d prefer to have better isolated houses or a good working heating.
