The place had mold and it was freezing cold - price included two hours of heating and there were no warm water. After the first night we had to change location, because we became ill there. The receptionist didn\'t believe us and didn\'t make easy getting our money back (for example he changed the door security code that we wouldn\'t get in!) We had paid five nights, got two back.

We booked a room en-suite according to our booking, however the toilet was down the hall and slightly downstairs. I do not know where the en-suite managed into the description. We only used the hostel to sleep in and it served that function for us as far as I was concerned. My son spent a year in hostels in Fiji and in Melbourne and wasn\'t impressed compared to his experiences there. But we were there for the rugby HC semi final and I thought it fit for purpose.

Staff is friendly and accomodating. Relaxed environment . Location is not bad and close enough to the city centre.. approx. 10 min walk.

PRO: Přátelský personál, skvěle vybavená kuchyň, dobré umístění hostelu, PROTI: Wifi jen v jídelně a společenské místnosti. Očividně nemají dost času na úklid. Celkově hodnotím kladně:-)

Personally,I\'m very dissappointed with this hostel. I stayed there recently and I am not happy with the owner\'s welcome. As soon as my friend and I arrived, we had to go back to the hostel in two hours cause the room was not ready yet. We went back 2 hours and 45 minutes afterwards, so we thought we could go to our room. But we had to wait 15 minutes more. Everytime we needed him, we were not able to find him because he was NEVER in the reception. The kitchen and living room were lovely, though.

Stayed many time in that place, still good.

very good, nice and safe place, very homely environment. fridges in rooms and a 24 hour open kitchen make it a bonus and there is no lock out during the day like other hostels i have stayed in. Friendly staff and helpful. Thanks Celtshouse, i had a great stay will be back.

the facilities are not so good (toilets are very narrow)but quite clear. the atmosphere was really friendly unlike the impersonal environment in the big hostels

L'auberge a fait du surbooking nous n'avons donc pas pu avoir notre chambre, c'est inadmissible ! De plus nous n'avons eu aucune compensation pour la gène occasionnée !

dangerous neighbourhood, unfriendly staff, only 2 toilets in whole hostel, shower was tiny and dirty! Disgusting place which really needs some TLC!

Stayed here on St. Patty's weekend in a 4 dorm share. It was fine until 2 of our fellow dorm mates came storming in at about 3 in the morning then proceeded to conduct a symphony of snores and farts. The hostel itself was chill, dorm mates...well I guess sometimes you're lucky and other times you're shipped outta luck.

Not brilliant, but ok for one night.

We stayed here the St. Patricksdayweekend, we paid 90 euro à night (4 nights) for staying in à cold wet cellarhole. The heatening didn't function. We had to shower two floors up. 2 Showers for al lot of visitors. You couldn't stay in the living room, Because they created extra places to sleep their with curtains and people sleeping in the couches! The smell in the kit hen was awful. Don't stay here!!!!!

None of the showers had hot water - got an ice cold trickle at best.

I booked a private room for the night of the 6 Nations Ireland v Scotland match, and showed up a few hours before the match to be told that our reservation had been cancelled without notice and without explanation. The guy working there was incredibly, incredibly rude, and repeatedly blamed me, saying he had sent a single email (which I never got at all, ), never called, and that it was my fault for not checking my email more often. Horribly managed by incredibly rude people. DON'T EVER GO HERE!

I was staying in Dublin on a lads weekend away - therefore the hostel was chosen for its cheapness. Although, the rooms were cold, small, depressing and not exactly clean. To make matters worse we couldn't shower as THE WATER WAS OFF ALL WEEKEND...i ended up having to brush my teeth in the Arlington. If you are thinking of staying here, dont! Its cheap for a reason....its a hole.

celts house was really so clean and comfortable hostel for us, ıt*s on the mıddle of the dublin it*s closed to everywhere for a walk ,and the prıce ıs so cheap ,you can have free locked closet,warm home atmosphere ,a kıtchen whıch ınclude everythıng ;)
