Clean and comfortable. Pretty laid back with a good amount of long term guests. It's on a quiet street away from the major hostel street that's one next to another. Room was a little musty but the kitchen and hot tube were great! Overall, no complaints. Would stay there again.

Centabay Lodge really is the friendliest backpackers accommodation around! Great kitchen full of all the pots and pans for your cooking needs, friendly and helpful staff, and a cute cat named Mao (sp?) Fabulous location which, is within 5 minute walk to the main pier. Free bikes, spa, kayaks, and 400 movies to choose from...what more can a traveller on a budget ask for?

The place was very well kept, but the staff was not superhelpful when you had a question about how to get somewhere. Just fyi, there is no breakfast or tea, but the kitchen facilities are great.

A good hostel on a good location with heeps of free stuff to use. Good kitchen and nice rooms. The Internet and computers did´nt work well though.

Had a lovely stay, wanted a quiet night and there was a massive selection of films you could watch in your room. Prime location and clean room
