First we had a horrible room with no window and air conditioning next to the elevator. We coulndn't sleep the whole night because of the loud noise from the elevator. The hostel staff gave us an appartement instead and promised that we could stay there for the rest of our trip. Two days later they told us that we have to move the room again. If you want to sleep don't go to that place, it's not isolated and you can hear all the noise from the other hostel guests.

The hostel staff were quite rude at times and unhelpful. The rooms were quite crowded and stuffy. There were stains on my bed linen which I only recieved in the evening.

On the upside of this hostel is that is ideally located close to Ramblas and value for money is quite ok. Downsides where the relatively poor character and atmosphere, accompanied by the poor cleanliness of the place. You don't call it filthy but am sure the can do better than that. Another aspect was the low quality of the breakfast served, not that good but if you are hungry its ok. Another major issue we faced was that the elevator broke down on us which took them ages to fix.

The sheets for the bed were a bit gross and the blanket wasn't the cleanest looking. The staff was nice enough, but not overly friendly like in some hostels. The breakfast was good although it lacked a bit of nutritional value. There is only wifi in the lobby, which isn't the best wifi but you'll survive with it. The security there is really good.

I suggest that you leave a couple of cups, utensils and plates outside so that people can also eat during the day because it was hard for me to prepare my own meals in the hostel kitchen.

First thing when I arrived was this huge bunch of kids running around, all definitely less than 16. I mean, isn´t there a rule against unsupervised minors? Location is good though, and every bed had their own light and power socket.

Great hostel. The best localization in Barcelona. The staff is so kind.

I reserved a 6 person room, but there was only ONE power point in the entire room. So all of us had to take turns and rotate to charge our phones and cameras. Also, the room had only one main light, and we did not have individual lamps at our beds, which made it very difficult to move around in the dark. There was no wifi in the rooms too. The signal at the wifi area was pretty weak too. Finally, it was EXTREMELY noisy at night. There were people partying downstairs till 5am.

We just did not have a pleasant experience at Center Ramblas. They only had internet down stairs but then closed the use of computers and down stairs area after midnight. They only had four computers which didn´t work half the time. The staff wasn´t very helpful when we asked for suggestions for places to eat etc. The window was left open one day, bird poop everywhere in the room. When we asked for new blankets they simply told us to take them off of another bed in our room. Breakfast was okay.

Wifi is only available in the lobby and common area. However the common area closes at from 1am-6-am. All the staff were lenient towards this rule. Obviously if you got too loud they would ask you to leave. There was 1 staff member that really made our stay somewhat unenjoyable however the rest of the staff were excellent!! You get what you pay for is pretty much what I'm saying. Not the best place but certainly not the worst either.

There were a lot of people staying here at the same time as me. It was a little overwhelming being in a tight room with 11 others. But I just spent more time outside in the city. The immediate area around the hostel can get a little seedy at night, but the staff is always watching the front door and you get an electronic key card for your room. Lockers are available in the rooms.Showers are ok. Breakfast was good but there are no kitchen facilities other than a refrigerator.

This is an OK hostel, it's a bed and if that's all you're looking for stay here. You couldn't use your own locks on the lockers which was annoying. There is no kitchen, no atmosphere, and the entire hostel feels cramped. Not the place to stay if you're a solo traveler or like meeting new people. Breakfast is ok.

It was good experience but one thing I like to recommend is to have wi-fi in all floors instead of having it on ground floor only.

It would be better to have 1 key per person, even if we are a group in a dormitory. Beds are not really confortable and they should change their coffee and orange juice for the breakfast ! Nice welcome, good to have internet access, very good location ... thanks!
