I forgot my go pro at the reception and the staff didnt understand that this was a huge problem because such a camera is really expensive. So i had to argue with them that they would send it but at the end they still didn't. A staff member then sent it privatly to me.

I had booked a 8 bed dorm. Put in a ten. No refund or apology. Floor was filthy in the dorm , as was bathrooms. It was loud as where the lockers are for other ppl is right next to you head. On a budget I guess it's what expect but I paid over 20 euro for the night and have stayed in places much better. And you get the room you booked. There are so many places to stay unfortunately I picked a bad one.

Amazing location, right off las ramblas down a little alleyway. staff were helpful and friendly and there was wifi (although that only worked in the common area downstairs). rooms were clean enough, but a bit cramped and no air con so in the middle of the summer it was almost unbearably hot!! But was a place to sleep and felt secure enough which is all thats needed from a hostel.

awesome hostel, decent breakfast

Not great. Location is sketchy & the hostel isn't clean in the bathrooms. It's cheap but for $5 more you can stay at other hostels that are much better. They kick you out of the common area at 12am, you don't have Internet after that. I needed a boarding pass printed & the staff won't do it and aren't always friendly. They send you down the street to a place to print (which is often closed and was when I needed it). You get what you pay for I guess. The setup makes it hard to meet people too.

Communal bathrooms; two showers and two toilets per floor. Wifi was down completely one day/night and the other days I had to be in the lobby in order for it to work.

The greatest asset in Center Ramblas is the friendly staffs who can speak not just Spanish but also English. Rooms are a little small but clean, there are security lockers, lift works perfect, people are fun and polite and breakfast is small but free so I won't ask for too much. The only problem is that the showerrooms are too small, I can barely turn around in the shower. The sink is also slow so water tends to collect for a while.

stayed in hostels all through europe and this is by far the worst... facilities awful, dirty small and didnt work. smelt all the time, rooms tiny and stuffy... no ventilation and aircon/fans didnt work. showers are disgusting... need to keep pushing a button to keep the light on even in the toilet. had to move rooms 3 times in my stay due to booking errors.. even booked a hotel to get away for a night. dont stay here, plenty of better hostels in barcelona for the same price!

Staff were very helpful and friendly. I wasn't told about the tourist tax when I booked, so that should be put on the website somewhere so people are aware. Other than that, comfortable beds, clean facilities and easily accessed.

The rooms are just too small. Washrooms not in rooms. Really felt like military barracks. Though the staff were friendly for the most part.

This hostel is located near the Ramblas touristy street. It is really close to Lo Boqueria which is really cool. The hostel also has a kitchen (closes at 11pm), local grocery stores, and restaurants for food needs. The bathroom is shared with everyone on your floor, there is WiFi on the first floor only, and no air conditioning. Rooms have a good locker system for your belongings. Receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Should you decide to come late after partying they are open 24 hours.

A better selection for breakfast foods maybe. Otherwise value for money.

The room had only a very small window and it was very hot during the night

Good hostel. Really good price, great staff, great lockers, great atmosphere (the hostel organizes events and crawls). While the size of the bathroom seems to be small for so many rooms in each floor, we never had a problem, and everything is always really clean. The only downside is the breakfast, which doesn't really offer anything of substance (it's just coffee, tea, milk, juice, cereals, bread, butter and jam). Adding ham and cheese would be a great boost. Other than that, our stay was great

Nice hostel, great location, breakfast was good. They had muffins, different types of coffee, toast, and cereal with milk. "Special" bar crawl for San Juan day was expensive at 15 euros. Kept our Lugguage for the day we left for 2 euros.
