This hostel is just perfect. There is nothing missing, it has a very worm and comfortable atmosphere, very nice Hungarian staff always willing to help and trying to make you feel as at home. The location is also one of the best things about. I recommend this place very much.

Very comfortable environment with friendly staff members who give the best advice on everything (eating, shopping, banks, sights to see, etc). Daniella (I think her name was) is really helpful! The hostel feels extremely homey too. There are private bathrooms/toilets, which was really nice for a change. Great wifi connection and a cute little lounge area to hang out in. Only downside is that breakfast is not included, but there is free coffee and tea 24/7.

I really think that the staff is more than nice!! They help traveller (like me :P) in everything that they need. I don't remember the name of them one by one but I'd like to write something for each of them because everybody has something special. So, I strongly recommend this Hostel for all people open mind who like to travel!! Thank you very much to all the staff, a big hug, Marco

Had a lovely stay. The staff were very helpful and offered lots of great advice about places to visit and how to get to them.

I had a wonderful long weekend at Central Backpack King. The location is great, half block from St. Stephen\\\\\\\'s Basilica and the neighborhood is really nice. Restaurants, bars, a supermarket and a subway stop are within a walking distance. The staff is friendly, especially Silvia and Gabriella who were also very helpful! I\\\\\\\'ll definitely stay there again!

central backpack king was excellent. I spent my first two nights in budapest here and had a great time. I had to switch to the budapest bubble for the 3rd night, had a bad experience, and promptly went back to CBK the next morning. Friendly staff, great location, nice laid back atmosphere. it is not going to have the incessant party atmosphere but easily arranged pub crawls. right next to deak ter that has a park, footbath, and bball courts. restaurant Hummus next door is cheap and delicious

I have done a lot of traveling and stayed in many hostels throughout Europe. This was definitely my best hostel experience. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I had a great stay in Budapest thanks to the Backpack King!

Nice place to stay and in a perfect position. Staff is really courteous and avalable to help u with usefull information. My room was roomy and the generally clean. definetely it's a nice hostel

Great hostel, perfect location, great for price.

the position of my room in the hostel was not ideal. we stayed in the front room near the reception so we kept getting woken up by other people checking into the reception at late hours in the night. It was very frustrating because everything echoed in our room and everyone was being very loud. It was hard to sleep.

Absolutely incredible hostel. Very comfortable and homey, but the absolute best part was how helpful it was and how many resources it provided. We basically planned all of our activities in Budapest from the hostel recommendations, and had an incredible trip.

I loved this hostel! The staff were very friendly, particularly Monica. It had a nice homely feel to it and you could really relax after a busy day. Great to get a free welcome shot on arrival! The location was brilliant and I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hostel and helpfull staff

Good location just 1 minutes walk away from the basilica and many restaurants on the same street. The staff were very friendly and were great at giving advice on things to do and where to go. It's a small hostel on one floor and there was never really anyone in the common area when we were there so not really the best place for meeting new people!

The building it was in seemed kind of sketchy, especially gate over the door to the hostel, but inside it was very friendly and welcoming, and the area wasn't sketchy at all. Overall decent hostel, good value for money nothing extraordinary, nothing too bad either.

Love the hostel! The free shot was a nice touch and having tea available at any time was grand. Hot water was a divine, only grumble I'd have would be about having to hold up the shower faucet since it was handheld. Had a great atmosphere though!

Verry nice hostel. Cheap, Friendly people and a perfect location in the middle of the citty. Everything you need for a good trip in Budapest.
