Brilliant location - free beer happy hour - nice beds and newish bathrooms with hot showers - all you need!
Second time I stayed here, staff welcomed me back with open arms. Really is a good place to stay
Nice hostel close to everything. Great staff. Not much of a party hostel other than they have free beer every night. The cleanest rooms I have seen in a long, long time. Breakfast is not much to talk about, but there is several breakfast places around.
bed bugs! :-/ but the staff immediatly shut down the room, bought New metal beds and paid our laundry. they were helfpful!
This nice hostel has a friendly staff that won't try to sell you everything all the time. They can be trusted for good advice and tips. Huan, the amazing lady of the staff is absolutely fantastic. She is fun, smart, speaks very good English, polite and helps with everything. The place itself has seen better days. A little bit dirty at the common area, and a little bit dark. Free beer is a great opportunity to meet people, even if you are not a heavy drinker like me. Breakfast is poor.
This is a great hostel in the heart of the old town not far from the beautiful lake, and housed in one of the tall narrow buildings typical of Hanoi. Dormitories and rooms all have balconies with views over the leafy bustling street; and are comfortable, spacious and fully-equipped with excellent bathrooms, wi-fi, air-con, lockers. There is a bar and lounge downstairs for evening festivities and the whole place is well-run by friendly obliging staff who will provide anything you need in Vietnam.
Pretty good place. Bar was awesome, although the toilet next to it needs a makeover, The Halong Bay tour organised through them was excellent.
This place is clean, great environment, nice staff, love the free beer. Only complaint are the beds, they're a bit hard.
We booked our tour of Halong Bay through this hostel and it was great. Free beer from 7:30-8:30 was awesome, and the hostel is a short walk from where the airport shuttle bus drops you off. Great value for what you get.
Good Hostel and do amazing Ha Long trip! would recommend
not the place place, mainly due to the staff. unfriendly and unhelpful is a bad combination. All they worry about is pushing their over priced tours on you. their knowledge of the transport available is also hopeless basically the sttitude is do a tour through us or get stuffed. left after a couple of nights, theres plenty of better places out there
Stayed there for 10 days and was difficult to leave. All staff are helpful with any quires you have about your visit in Vietnam. Free beer was a hit to engage with so many people.
Great staff, good tours. Free beer was an added bonus! Walking distance to the centre of the city.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Bottled water was a great price. Room was nice. Free beer served daily from 730pm-830pm. Had decent day tours. Good location walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake and St Joseph Cathedral and the Prison Museum. Provided a map of the city with tips about eating out and what to see.
It's lovated in the city center, so everything can be reached by foot. Nothing to complain about. Staff was realy organised. Helped to organise my trips. Helped to buy me train tickets. Would realy suggest to my friends.
I spent one night there, the staff is really helpful !! However, most people I met there just wanted to party (one hour with free beer at the hostel), so the dorm was very noisy during the night... not great when you want to discover the city in the morning...
Really enjoyed my stay here, dorm rooms are what you expect and you get a locker to store small valuables. Met quite a few people at this hostel I've stayed in contact with - the free beer hour is a good idea in case you're traveling solo and want to meet people. Great cafes nearby and st Joseph's cathedral! The shutters that come down at night and 6 in the morning are a bit noisy for lower floors though. Don't get too excited about the free breakfast.
