The free earplugs should've been a red flag from the moment I checked in! This place seems wonderful by day but it was a sleepless night for me. There are at least 2 loud nightclubs nearby that played loud music (on a Wednesday) until the early hours of the morning. Shame, because the staff was very friendly and they have free breakfast and wifi!

Extremely clean. Very nice staff. Just the number of sinks didn't really match the number of customers. For the rest: it was great!

Decent hostel, good kitchen and showers. Common room was a bit grotty but beds and other areas were clean. Would recommend.

Great hostel - very chill and laid back atomosphere, great central location, and good amenities. Only thing that sucked was the water pressure in the showers was basically non-existent and the water was either unbearably hot or super cold. That said, the rest was good.

Good place. Right in the middle of town and though small has almost all you could need. Nice girl on reception and a decently stocked kitchen. Can get a little loud but they provide free ear plugs to counteract the night club below ;) Clean and comfortable. Cheers

The hostel was good right in the middle of the centre which was very welcome. I had toruble finding it though as the sings were not the most obvious ones. Maybe a better description on Hostelworld.com on how to find the hostel like for example "Look for the yellow door on the left hand side on Park End Street walking from the train station". Good location but lots of loud music until late in the evening/night. That was alright though. Lockers could be a good idea.

Great hostel. Nice atmosphere with friendly helpful staff. Well stocked kitchen with free tea and coffee. Good common area (open 24 hours!). Comfy beds! Though could possibly do with plumper pillows....though that's just being picky lol. The free ear plugs were a nice touch- 'cause let's face it, hostels are not the quietest of places at night! Secure entry and key cards to rooms with lockers that they lend you padlocks for! Would stay again.

The location is good, it's about 5 minutes walk to the main bus/train stations and about the same to the city centre. Cleanliness was excellent too, one of the cleanest hostels I've been to but without that sterile "hospital" feel YHAs tend to have. The beds were comfortable but a bit squeaky, not too bad though. Staff were organised and friendly but let down by the one who decided to wander in, hit the dorm light switch and begin a loud conversation with a guest! Overall I'll stay here again.

This place was awesome. Everyone was very friendly and the hostel was great. Only 3 showers but we never had to wait for one. No complaints at all!

Nice cosy hostel in a good location. Staff were helpful and friendly. Was easy to meet people in the dining area and lounge room. Kitchen fridges were very useful for storing food and alcohol. Staff seemed to clean showers etc every morning. Outdoor lounge area really cool with large gas heater. Great hostel.

The hostel is located very close to the city centre and to the main bus station (it takes a few minutes to reach both of them). The atmosphere is bright and relaxing, it's possible to cook and to have free breakfast for free until 10 o' clock. There are common spaces and a terrace on the roof of the hostel and the rooms are very clean and safe, every guest has his own personal locker. The staff members are friendly and helpful with any request

Very clean, well run hostel. All staff are very friendly. Great location, within walking distance of the city centre as well as the bus and train station. I would definitely recommend this hostel.

It would be very nice if there were larger lockers available to lock up luggage/large backpacks. I was uneasy leaving all my belongings out in the open. The bathroom and shower facilities aren't very convienient, either.

We have a storage room for large items such as backpacks, and small lockers in the rooms for laptops, cameras and valuables. Both of which are free of charge for guests of the hostel.

This hostel doesn't even have a proper reception. Just a till next in a bag room. Not good from a security point of view. Or from a customer service point of view.

Owner Comment (Show)
Our reception room is used for luggage storage as well. This is a service we offer to our guests free of charge. It is locked and 100% secure, only staff have access to this room. For our front door we use a coded entry system. This code is only given to guests, and is frequently changed in order to ensure security. All rooms are equipped with swipe entry locks, and can only be accessed by the guests staying in these rooms. We provide lockers, free of charge, that guests can use for their valuables, including laptops. Lastly, we have staff checking and patrolling the hostel 24 hours a day, to ensure security. Our hostel is completely secure, and we pride ourselves on the fact that we never have any security issues. As for customer service, our staff here are excellent, and there is always someone around to lend a helping hand.

A dishwasher would have kept the kitchen cleaner. It would have avoided unnecessary queues at the sink, too.
