Directions to Central City Backpackers

BY AIR - There are two options for the twenty minute drive into the City.
The airport shuttle bus is approx. $13.00 one way (make sure you tell them). Taxis are approx. $35 weekdays and $45 weekends/night. Both will drop you off at Central City Backpackers.

BY BUS - From within Tasmania
- Redline Terminal is 2 1/2 blocks from the Central City Backpackers, straight down Liverpool Street (towards the City), turn right onto Murray Street and then left onto Collins Street. We are immediately on the right.
- Tassielink Terminal is straight down Elizabeth Street, and turn right after the mall onto Collins Street. We are on the left near Murray Street.

BY CAR - We are located on Collins Street near the Murray Street intercection.
Parking on the street is FREE from 6.00pm till 8.30am in most spots. Some are FREE all day Sunday. Please check the signs.
There is plenty on inexpensive multi storey parking nearby, and free on-street parking starts 4 blocks away.
