Very cozy and homely. People were very helpful and fun to hang out on rainy days. We felt very welcome and at home there.Very cozy and homely. People were very helpful and fun to hang out on rainy days. We felt very welcome and at home there....Close

Great hostel, short walk to the bus terminal, around the corner from the supermarket and not far from downtown. But the matresses in the dorms should have been replaced a year ago!Great hostel, short walk to the bus terminal, around the corner from the supermarket and not far from downtown. Good location, nice staff, comfy beds but leaky cold radiator and only the floor to put our stuff - a hook or two wouldn't kill you, and our vote for the worst coffee in Chile!Good location, nice staff, comfy beds but leaky cold radiator and only the floor to put our stuff - a hook or two wouldn't kill you, and our vote for the worst coffee in Chile!...Close

I loved the atmosphere in this hostel which was extremely clean. The staff were helpful and patient with my very poor Spanish. They did speak English too. The kitchen was well equipped and there was Skype on the internet. The large supermarket is five mins walk away and the main shopping area the whilst the river and sealions are perhaps fifteen. Good location with good wi-fi connection (despite what Lonely Planet says). Shared bathrooms modern and clean, never a queue although hostel was not full. Breakfast ok, main complaints; no heating so bedroom cold but given lots of blankets so just difficult to get up in morning. Secondly, lock on door to private twin was clunky and loud, impossibe to go to the toilet without waking partner. Thirdly, mattresses were thin. Lastly, no luggage room, just left in hallway so little security.Good location with good wi-fi connection (despite what Lonely Planet says).
