Central Hostel Riga Reviews

This is a best hostel in my experience. Clean, cozy, comfortable. Central Hostel Riga definitely going to be my place to spend night or two while my next trip to Riga.

home-like, cozy place, stayed only one night but could have stayed longer! nice rooms, a common room, kitchen, breakfast was simple but good, shower clean and good, rooms cozy and beds comfortable. would recommend to those you like a quiet and nice place to sleep and hang out. maybe not for the party-goers.

The hostel is in the senter of Riga,whits is good. The staff is exelent,the gentelmen who was at the work in evening of the 1-st january was very very helpful,he find the bus station adress from the internet,organize the taxi in the morning to airport, everything went grate.

It is nice and quiet hostel to stay in, not really far from the center and with some nice places with cheap but very good food to eat near by.

Overall the hostel was nice. Unlike what is advertised there was no WiFi in our room, however. Inside our room there was a note saying that there was WiFi in most rooms, but I actually think there was no WiFi on our entire floor. Another strange lie is that the description says breakfast is served until noon whereas it is only available until 11am. Also, there was an anti-Ryanair rant related to new taxes hanging on the kitchen wall. I thought this was in bad taste. Minor complaints, though.

The atmosphere in this hostel is great! Feels like home. I stayed in the 5 bed dorm, but there was only 1 bathroom for the whole floor. At the time I could take a shower, it was cold. It is pretty far from the centre, but for what you pay it is okay

It was a pleasant stay with friendly and welcoming staff. The place was clean. Would recommend it and will go back anytime.

Never got a chance to stay in this hotel though booked it. Polina from reception was very friendly and helped me a lot with the booking. Next time I go to Riga, will definitely try to stay there!

Thanks a lot to the staff! We enjoyed the stay. I've already advised it to my friends who are planning to visit Riga.

The only drawback was that the springs on our bed were really uneven and broken and were quite uncomfortable. But otherwise everything was superduper and we loved the place! :)

There individual kys are required to enter the kitchen and staff are not on duty 24/7.

Great hostel- the staff were really friendly and always willing to help. The room we had was really nice and big. Free breakfast was great, and on Sunday we had eggs, fruit and vegetables. Great kitchen facilities and common areas.

Great little hostel, very cute, colourful and cozy. Friendly stuff, free basic breakfast, free parking if you arrive by car. Very close to the old town and central market. We had our dog with us and she was warmly welcomed too. If we come back to Riga we will definitely go to this hostel again. Sonia, Przemek and Gruba

Good location, clean and cozy room, friendly staff, very good breakfast, but you can hear people walking in the aisle which can be noisy sometimes. Except this, everything just excellent!

Great staff, nice atmosphere. Free basic breakfast was nice. Had a nice stay close to the town and old town.
