Although I'm not expecting an hostel to be perfect, this was was really dirty (mostly because of the funky stains on the carpets and sheets). It's a cheap one, so if you only stay one night in London it's ok. But I wuld recommend you to sleep in your sleeping bag.

Not the best of places - dark, dingy, smelly, and the showers were all over the place. But for £10 it will do - just don't expect much

The room was a mixture of laundry and garage..

The staff was really nice with us, nice location and excellent security. But the main thing is, when you're on a trip, you REALLY DO need wifi, and the hostel has absolutely NONE. There was also just ONE bathroom for everyone in the hostel, so that's bad. Our sheets weren't clean and our bed hadn't been made when we got there, but still, the worst thing was the abscence of wifi.

Very good location but this place has some serious humidity issues. The kitchen is just disgusting! Mold on the walls and very stinky! Rooms were though clean and tidy, changed linen.

As a school group I was initially worried that the price we paid (£15 per person) would mean we were heading to an awful place. I was pleasantly surprised and all the students were quite happy. We enjoyed our stay and by the time we left the girls were planning their next visit to celebrate them all turning 18.

Room smelt of sewage, there were long-term residents who took up all the storage space. The toilet and showers were not amazing and the hostel was hard to find as its entrance was a basement with little sign-age. Staff were friendly.

Staff are friendly, and the location is close to a tube station that takes you everywhere in city but other then that it's really not a great place. You really get what you pay for. NO noise control! Heard people partying from 10 pm all the way until 5 am and our room mates came in and turned on the lights and were very inconsiderate. We got hardly any sleep. Only two toilets you must share with everyone else on floor and it is not a very clean place. Ok for one or two nights but I not longer.

The hostel was, like many being renovated. For the most part friendly and helpful, except when I attempted to return my key. They. Kept my deposit because I could not find my receipt for the key. I would have thought that the key would be enough. Apparently they had a sign stating their policy or key recipes and naturally everyone takes the time to read. This ruined what was a reasonably pleasant stay,

felt very unsafe, no cages underneath beds for belongings, no ladder on the bunk beds to climb up, no barrier to keep me from falling off the bed, everytime the upstairs toilet flushed it would make a horrible loud noise through the walls. matresses were very uncomfortable. only good point is that the staff were friendly and helpful.

I was suppose to change to a 4 room from a 6 room dorm. I have already paid a higher price for that too. End up, i could not get a change and also the person apologised and promise me that my 6 room will not be having anymore people for my stay so making it a 4 room. But my concern is actually the toilet. I checked that online a toilet that comes with a shower place will be only for 4 room, that is why i change it. Anyway, a reminder, just stick on to the same dorm and don't think of it.

-Customer service was rather poor, no ''we need this customer back in the future'' attitude -There was not much heating in the room even though it was freezing outside. -Toilets were dirty -The location is excellent

I felt unsafe in this hostel - I was in a large room and there were no lockers to store bags. Bathrooms and toilets always dirty and only seemed to be cleaned once in the morning. Nosiy group of Italians who were staying in the hostel were always oustide of bedroom windows at around 2am...so noisy that I couldn't sleep and reception never told them to be quiet....

Well i stayed two nights and i saw a different guest being taken away by police each night. This is quite unusual. Im not sure what they did. However i feel that that its possible the situations was incited by a member of staff. I listened and watched the behavior of one staff member. Who seemed far too keen to call security on guests for making a noise. It understandable if this business is located in a residental area. That staff need to be vigilant about noise. However not too much.

This hostel is well worth the money: it is an excellent location in the beautiful area of Kensington and in a very lovely area that caters to tourists. The hostel is in a Georgian townhouse and is in walking distance from Kensington palace and gardens, as well as a short tube ride away from other London sights. The only issues are the lack of wifi and that there are few bathrooms, so you sometimes have to wait for a while in the morning. Overall, worth the price!
