Good location, situated in an old cramped building. Mattress had definitely seen better days but if you need a place to just sleep in for a couple of nights, this will do the job.

Great thing about this hostel is the location. There does not appear to be many cameras inside for security. The entrance is quite awkward so be prepared if you have heavy luggage. The atmosphere is more of a residence because there are many long-term residents ranging from months to years. There is a kitchen available so you can save money on food. Toilets seem to clog easily.

- bunk beds didn't have ladders, had to climb furniture to get on the top bunk - shower wasn't working in our room, only other shower we could find was cold - the wi-fi only worked in the common room - constant smell of weed outside the building, and in a number of rooms in the hostel

Thanks guys

good location in residential quarter in central london, near hyde park, tiny, packed rooms narrow stairs up, wc/showers on different floors, no wifi in rooms, entrance through basement, small kitchen in basement, unfortunately I had the chance to experience staff in an extremely unfriendly and un-welcoming mood a la "i dont want to work here, what do you want, please leave me alone", no lockers in the room, beds can only be booked via hostelworld, cheap deals

The people working is not helpful in fact almost rude and the atmosphere there is crepy!.the carpets are old and so dirty!! Try to avoid this hostel. I wouldn t recomended it at all!!

Very happy. Cheers

If you are just wanting a place to sleep, then this hostel is for you. However, the staff were not the nicest to deal with and the atmosphere was not very welcoming. I realise that you get what you pay for... but I have stayed in some really nice places for the same price. I wouldn't recommend this hostel. But, I guess everyone has their own opinion.

Tinny rooms and ridiculous small common area. The kitchen also is not enough for all the people who wants to cook.

I was so scared after reading the comments, but really it is not that bad ! Sure, it is old, ugly, the toilets are often blocked. But when I went there my sheets smelled like clean (!!!), the showers were ok, and the hostel has a great location ! Like 5 minutes from Hyde Park, how great is that !?

The staff were not very friendly. The hostel is extremely messy and unclean, with narrow corridors full of other people's luggage. The bunk beds in the room didn't have a ladder, forcing you to use the bed of the person below to get up. There were only two plug points in the room, under a bunk bed next to the door. We booked a female dorm, but shared the bathroom with the mixed dorms on the same floor. My friend and I were so dissatisfied we checked out a night early and were refused a refund.

Rude, unwelcoming reception staff. No lockers, poor security (had money & cards stolen), wifi only in common room, changed rooms twice in the 5 days (despite booking & paying in advance). Bathrooms are dirty, beds are uncomfortable. Worst hostel I have been in & I have been traveling for 6 months in SE Asia & Eastern Europe.

The hostel had no atmosphere at all. The facilities were difficult to use as everything was jammed into a small area.

Absolutely fantastic location, round the corner from Hyde Park. Really pretty area. Staff were really mixed, some were quite rude and scary. Common room tiny and unsociable. When we were staying, there were only two showers with hot water in the whole place. Gross bathrooms. Really dirty despite being supposedly cleaned every two hours. That being said, for where it is and the price, it's a reasonable place to sleep. Just remember flip-flops. And never open a closed toilet lid.....

No signal for locate it unless your address on paper no proper signal on front, entrance is on embossment you have to pass true the Bin lockers an a little kitchen available to you have a little windows just in front of the bin if you are a very yang student, crazy for adventure this could be the perfect place do not pay to much to have a place to stay other the a tend on the park, no credit card accept, bed condition is disgusting do not remove the covers other ways you will not sleep on it.

Excellent hostel - and a special thank you to Phoebe for going put of her way to help.

Compared fine with the other hostels nearby. Kitchen and eating facilities somewhat confined, but the bunks, showers and lavatories were OK if no better.

A number of showers were not even installed in the cubicles, the enterance is easily missed, there was no atmosphere in the hostel, dorm rooms doors wouldn't close properly.

One can not sit up in bed. Horrible mattress. No lockers in room. No wifi in rooms. Very run down shower room. Claustrophobic from entrance through lobby till upstairs.
