A very basic hotel. The only good thing about it is just the location. Close to KL Sentral.

I thought it was a good place, good location, friendly and helpful staff. But as seems to be a serious problem in kl - bedbugs.

Not recommended! The good thing about this place is it's central location close to the MRT station. Apart from that there are not many positive things to say: The room and especially the bedsheet were quite smelly and covered with various hair. The climax of my experience was reached after finding BED BUGS in my bed and got told by the staff I should be more flexible..

You get what you pay for! cheap hostel, good if you need to save money, staff are friendly, helpful and do as much as they can to make you comfortable. There is free drinking water from a water cooler which is brilliant as well as free breakfast.

This hostel is very strategic location because it is near the KL Sentral area and 7eleven but the size of the rooms are very cramped atmosphere of the rooms are dirty and smell a very hard mattress springs and the taste is very less friendly hostel staff in answering questions about the location of travel is quite expensive rents are not comparable with existing facilities

Really basic, but perfect for transit, because of location and price.

The location near the central station in kl is perfect with multiple transport options to travel around kl and other parts of Malaysia. The lodge itself is basic but clean and is cheap enough for its' convenience to the transport nearby.

We stayed there for 3 nights. Rooms are without windows, very small and extremely hot if you dont book a room with A/C. But location is very good, staff nice, breakfast included. you have to pay for towel and blanket.

Central Lodge misses the point of being a budget hostel. It should offer a more appealing breakfast; adorn walls with Malaysian art; use local prints to make sheets which should be laundered and changed frequently; supply guests with up-to-date travel materials- maps, guides. Additionally, the staff, who are not travellers, should be coached in how to politely patiently and proficiently dispense travel information. The owners should visit other hostels for reference on how to manage a hostel.

A basic guesthouse - it's biggest attributes are the inexpensive cost & convenient location (2 blocks from KL Sentral). While the hallway and walk up multiple flights are a bit dingy and dirty the hostel itself is basically clean with working facilities (bathrooms, hot/cold showers). The public room has a TV and computer in addition to informational posters about things to do in KL. Staff was helpful - they even loaned me an adapter for my phone plug since I forgot to bring one of the add-ons.

Facilities are basic. Rooms without windows but with a/c. Definitely not your party-type hostel if you are looking for a vibey place but value for money if you are just looking for somewhere convenient to sleep. Well connected to airport & rest of KL.
