Well really enjoyed my time there at CMA made some awesome friends. Plenty activities to do there and shopping centre's are across the road plenty of bars. train station and Tram system quite close to hostel can be in the CBD in 10 minutes. Very Close to MCG and AAMI Park, Rod Laver arena's 20 min walk.

Exactly what I was looking for to watch the Australian Open for a few weeks and enjoy Melbourne. Nice walkable location. Minimum week stay makes it feel much more like a home and more comfortable, safe, and secure. Very graciously got free tickets to the Australian Open for all guests. Good for travelers looking to work while they stay long term, or travelers looking to enjoy the more robust suburbs and not just party in clubs downtown.

Great for the social aspect, pretty much self run, there is a proper kitchen, bedrooms and living area as appose to generic facilities and overseeing staff you get in other hostels. Recommended for long termers. Occupancy and price varies depending on season. Made some great friends here. :)

Very much like a home, as opposed to a hostel, and if you intend to stay in Melbourne for a considerable amount of time and are travelling alone or in a pair this is the hostel for you. Large groups are unwelcome as it is only a small hostel and the friendly atmosphere amongst the working travellers is something that the hostel prides itself on. The owner is a great bloke, who is very approachable and will try and help you with almost anything!

We would highly recommend this hostel to anybody, its more like a family home, where everybody makes you feel very welcome, I found this hostel to be very clean and after staying in quite I few hostels in Melbourne this was by far the best one we have stayed in.
