Great accommodation

Location is great - 2 train stops and you are in the middle of the city - or just hop on a tram and you are in the city in minutes, good for those who plan to work in Melbourne, been here 2 months and still haven't left! Steve (Owner) is full of knowledge for those wanting to explore Melbourne.

I appreciate that the bathrooms were always very tidy and clean, and having 4 beds to a room kept the feeling intimate. I met great people while staying here. Many thanks!

A little pricy, but it was a really good hostel to stay at. I stayed a week there, and everyone was really nice. More like a share house than a hostel. Steve was a really nice guy and knew so much about the city. Definitely a good place to sleep, as it's in Richmond, so it was really quiet.

I very much enjoyed my experience at CMA. Everything was clean and we were greeted kindly by the friendly and knowledgeable staff, who provided us with free tickets to the Australian Open as well as endless information about Melbourne and its surroundings. The atmosphere of this hostel is truly like a home away from home, filled with kind people and fun times.

I had a great time at Central Melbourne. Steve is a great host and is more than willing to help you with any questions, finding a job, things to do around Melbourne, etc. He is a very passionate Melbournian! It's more like a boarding house/home atmosphere and I really appreciated the chance to get to know the people staying there. The social atmosphere and comfortable feeling is the best part of this place.

Great time at CMA! Loved the free tennis tickets and kind staff. Clean kitchen and good laid back atmosphere.
