Most of the people staying in CMA are here for a while. It makes it so much nicer, because all kinds of things are spontaniously arranged like bbq's in the park, roadtrips, drinking coffee or goinig out. It is true it's more a home than a hostel.

More like a big shared house than a hostel

Rooms too small with no air con Free internet as advertised is not true. Very annoyed as that was the reason I chose the hostel!

Had a fantastic time here, Steve was very friendly and helpful from the first day. Hostel is clean, beds are comfortable. Feels like a home. Good value for money and house is organised so you can have a chilled night in the lounge or some good drinks and conversation in the garden. TV's, DVD's, books and notices mean there is always something to do. One of my best.

As it is a min of 7 nights stay its a great way to get to know people, house atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Great location 15minute walk to CBD.

The CMA is a great place to stay if you are looking for a nice, chilled-out atmosphere away from the buzz of town, but still within easy and fast access to the city. The hostel manager is one of the most helpful persons, he has a great knowledge of Melbourne and can even help you in finding work. As the hostel has only 30 beds and many people staying on a long-term basis, it feels very homely and secure. I would stay here again.

A lot of nationalities stay here so it is a good place to improve my english.it's a great hostel with a friendly atmosphere where is possible to share, but also have your own space.
