Maison de l'Érable was easily the most wonderful hostel I've ever stayed at. The owners, Chantal and Jason, were so welcoming, and set us up with everything we needed, including an afternoon of snowshoeing! Their two dogs were adorable, and the breakfast they made for us was a perfect way to start our day into frigid Quebec City. The location was excellent, in my opinion, but it's definitely off the beaten path. Worth it for the scenery, though. I can't recommend Maison de l'Érable enough.

Colorful, very very quaint and accommodating! Beautiful location, would have loved to explore their snow shoe trails! Very Squeaky bed, but fresh baking, fruit and a vast selection of toppings!!! Great breakfast and very personable hosts!! We will be back!

Chantal and Jason were amazing!!! She made a wonderful breakfast every morning. Without the help of Jason we would probably still be lost roaming Quebec City. We stayed at Centre Sante-Nature during the winter carnival, it was a perfect distance from the action, if you want close but not to close. Perfect for those who want to stay near preserved nature. We recommend this hostel to all!!

If visiting Quebec with a car, this is the perfect place. It's a quick drive to the city or anything else in the area and they are SO nice and helpful. And the breakfast is great!
