The hostel was good for everything. But just the bar is close on sunday, Why?? And the fact to pay for sheet and blanquet are not very good thing. This was a very accommodating place. We had booked a 4-Bed Dorm, and upon arrival all had filled so we were given two double rooms at no extra charge for the first night. Ease of access to the city (one block from the nearest metro station), very clean rooms, solid security in and out of the building. Drawbacks: Breakfast gets super busy between 9-10a, internet is only free for 20 min/day, linens and towels cost 2 euro each (plan ahead). Overall good experience, would recommend. This was a very accommodating place. Great hostel, great location! Near a metro stop, only about a 7min. walk to get to Placa Catalunya & La Rambla St. The people there are real helpful & friendly too to help you navigate yourself around the city. They even had a free Spanish reggae concert in the lounge the night I stayed - MICROGUAGUA (Great band!) - awesome hostel, I would def recommend staying here! El Gato Negro is a shot bar down the street... 2 euro shots & a list of over 100 diff shots, GO! GREAT TIMES! Great hostel, great location! Grat location, good character and friendly staff. The Private room ensuite was dark and not too clean. The mattress was too thin and stained and the pillows weren't too confortable. Maybe you can have a better deal in the dorms. Decent breakfast and nice common room. The top floor bar is a little bit poor if the outside terrace is closed.Grat location, good character and friendly staff. The Private room ensuite was dark and not too clean. Staff were very unhelpful someone was sleeping in my friends bed and they said we have to deal with it that they wouldnt do anything, no alcohol is promited, THE ROOM WAS VERY LOUD at night was hard to sleep with all the noise at times. they say you get free internet but you only get 20 min. if you want a sheet or blanket or towel you have to pay for it. the location was really really good though and they did a good job with security too.i would maybe go back, would look else where first thoughStaff were very unhelpful someone was sleeping in my friends bed and they said we have to deal with it that they wouldnt do anything, no alcohol is promited, THE ROOM WAS VERY LOUD at night was hard to sleep with all the noise at times. they say you get free internet but you only get 20 min. if you want a sheet or blanket or towel you have to pay for it. the location was really really good though and they did a good job with security too.i would maybe go back, would look else where first though...Close
