The Centro Internacional de Windsurfing is the first and the only center in the Canary Islands where you can find out the best way to enjoy a cheap stay while practicing any water or adventure sport.
We have big shared rooms with 8 beds and double rooms. All with splendid sea views Also on our premises is a swimming pool, solarium, wifi, restaurant, cyberzone (Internet access), windsurfing and diving school, library, TV room and more.
The CIW is situated directly at the most important beach in the world to practice windsurfing. The Windsurfing World Championship of the PWA takes place here every year. From our hostel you can enjoy the view over the Pozo Izquierdo Bay.
Grand Canary has already become a place popular with hostel holidaymakers. We are located 12km from the airport, 15kms from the Dunes of Maspalomas and 2kms from the city center of Vecindario which offers all facilities for shopping and fun.
Linen and towels are not included. You can bring them (sleeping bag also) from home or rent it for: Linen and blanket 6,50 €/week and towel 3 €/week. It's obligated to use linen.

Latest Review
My stay at CIW was memorable. The dorm where I stayed had a glass-wall with a great view to the sea, where you could watch people practicing windsurfing. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, and the restaurant in the hostel is great. It is the perfect place too if you want to do windsurfing/kitesurfing/etc, as they have all equipment and instructors available. Very nice, I would undoubtedly recommend it!
