Nice 3 day-long stay at Brigitte's ranch. The staff was very helpful and the place clean and confortable.

Room was dodgy even for the little price. Whole premise felt dirty to me. No light in the toilet. I would not go there again.

The owner was very nice and took us on a nice tour to the bribri. The Hotel is far from the busstation. Nice little porch. Breakfast is really good.

Breakfast was a little pricey but delicious. The shower has a heater built into the head that barely keeps the water warm, and if you try to adjust it during a shower you get a pretty powerful electric shock (like touching an electric fence). Slightly worried about the cleanliness of the place as I saw chickens walk on the restaurant tables. Very helpful staff re: arranging tours, shuttles, etc. Excellent peaceful location only 5 minute walk from city, 30 second walk to the ocean.

I liked the location if you have your car, it is close to bars and the beach. It is very nice to have your own cabine with terrace and beautiful vegetation. I didnt like that the rooms smells humidity and none of the staff knows any thing, they all suggest you to talk to Brigitte but she is not there. We had some money problems, she told us we ha to pay more than what our reservation said, then she agreed but she wanted us to pay more if we paid by card, she made a favorable currency exchange..

Staying with Brigitte was a very enjoyable experience. Brigitte herself was so kind and interesting. She even picked us up from the bus stop and dropped us off. The rest of her staff were very kind and helpful as well. Breakfast was fresh and tasty and it was so nice being surrounded by so many sweet animals, though the dogs do get a bit noisy at night. Bring your headphones or earplugs if that will be a problem for you. We enjoyed our stay very much and would absolutely stay here again :)

Located 1 km outside the main drag if Cahuita, this is a perfect spot to be close to the action but hear howler monkeys and the ocean rather than street sounds at night. The cabins were simple but brightly decorated and being able to relax on the porch in a hammock made for a great treat! Brigitte was welcoming and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with her as well as a long horseback ride with guide Raul, who was knowledgable and cared a lot for the horses. Great place!

Do not try to email the owner, you should just call her. Cabin was a bit noisy and not very clean. The property is near two reggae bars who played the same three songs constantly every day and night. Cleaners come to sweep the floors and empty the trash every day (they forgot to come one day). We had to clean the shelves and surfaces inside the cabin when we first arrived. Be prepared for dogs and cats coming into the cabin. Real screens on windows and better fans would improve the cabin.
