We offer you nice, clean, comfortable rooms in cozy backpacker-like hostel. We are not registered as hotel facility. It's located in a quiet street, in centre of the city. Located in the City Center two blocks from the local bus station. We are your perfect stopover on your way to the Perhentian Islands or to Thailand, as well as to other destinations in Malaysia. TIME CHECK IN 12.30 PM 'Rough Guide' says we are 'a tip top Malay-run place, very sociable, well kept.'
We have timetables and can help you arrange transport to many destinations, including the Perhentian islands, a local fishing village, and to Stong State Park. Established since 2002, renovated in 2008.
Laid back lounge area with satellite TV, refrigerator, and a balcony. Free Wi-Fi if you have your own laptop, but a computer with internet is also available. A/C rooms available. The location is excellent. It takes only 5 minutes walk to the buss station from where you can take interstate busses to other regions in Malaysia. From the same buss station you also can to take local buss to the train station at Wakaf Bahru. Gerana Ghesthouse is very near most attractions in the city. The rooms are Clean and has the basic facilities. the staff is friendly and speaks good English I recommend Gerana.G
