Wonderful sounds of the jungle with a lot of birds. Great local food breakfasts by the manager\'s wife. Some road noise, so specify that you want one of the back cabins.

Really enjoyes our stay here. The owner and his wife were very helpful and nice. Loved the cabins. Meals offered for purchase were also very reasonable.

After driving about a half mile bumpy rocky road, you come to Cerro Chato eco lodge among the other little eco lodges. Cute little bungalows are scattered among the plant lined paths. A small pool is very refreshing and attractive. The owner is very helpful with information and directions. It was a great way to spend our first night in CR. We thought we heard mice in our rooom, but, surprise to us, it was the geckos! Same sound as mice, but no holes in the snack bag!
