Stayed there last week and it remains one of my favorite lodges for this trip to Costa Rica. The cabins have cool front porches with chairs. So nice to read here and watch the rain come down. If you don\'t have a car its probably a 15 minute walk to town from this nice country spot. Tico\'s walk it daily! Great hospitable staff!

Miguel and his family were lovely. Excellent breakfasts (not included in price). As first time visitors to Costa Rica, Miguel was incredibly helpful in providing us with very useful travel information to help make our stay both fun and safe.

A great place to stay! Beautiful views of arenal and great tour options. The owners were super friendly and hospitable, they even helped us change our flat tire! There was no lock box and parking was not secured, but we felt completely safe the entire stay.

Miguel is a very friendly and accommodating host. The grounds of the hostel are gorgeous, and the view of the volcano is spectacular! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

It is the best place in Fortuna. Miguel and his family are wonderful people. The lodge itself is ideal for hikers!! It is located in a naturally beautiful spot with lots of peace and privacy. I absolutely loved it and I will return for many reasons inculding the delicious breakfast that Miguel´s wife made for us every morning. Highly recommended.

Miguel was an amazing host. He is very knowledgeable about the area. He is also very attentive to his guests. He was extremely helpful when we had trouble with our transportation. He personally drove us to town to ensure we made it to where we needed to go!

We loved our stay here. Miguel and his family are wonderful hosts. It's a short walk to the La Fortuna waterfall and if you're up for the challenge, the hike to Cerro Chato Lake. Our cabin was immaculate, very clean, and the ceiling fan was great. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
