Great B&B, conveniently located in a trendy part of town just 5 minutes walk from the Colosseum and other historic sites. The staff are friendly and helpful and recommended several fantastic (and cheap) restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The building is extremely safe and the rooms are simple but comfortable and clean. Breakfast consisted of tea/coffee, packaged croissant and biscuits (nothing fancy but adequate). We had a great weekend at cesare balbo and highly recommend it!

Awesome hostel! The best you can get for this money. Very clean and comfortable room, very near to Colloseum and other attractions! Glen and Luca are very nice and helpfull and without their legendary map we would be definately lost! Would definately stay again!

MR. GLENN IS THE BEST HOST, HE GAVE US A LOT OF ADVICES THAT HELP US TO HAVE A GREAT STAY IN ROME.

I had an amazing time here. Glen the owner is the nicest guy ever- very helpful and welcoming. I felt like I was staying with family. The room was really clean and Glen brought us breakfast to our room. Not the best breakfast I've ever had but still great. It's in a quiet area so no noise problems. Really close to a bus stop, metro, and near Termini. Water wasn't too hot but wasn't too bad.

This hostel was warm and inviting with a very helpful and friendly staff. In a great location within walking distance to major tourist attractions and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Our recent stay was wonderful! The B&B is extremely clean and homey, comfortable clean rooms. The staff is also fabulous, my friends lost their luggage and the owner went above and beyond the necessary to help them out and make our stay comfortable. Italian morning drinks and snacks are provided to your right in your room so you can enjoy as you get ready for the day. Planning on staying here again in the future as I am a frequent visitor to Rome!!

We stayed here for 3 nights in November. We are a young couple & thought this place was great! We got a room with a double bed & a single since our cousin joined us for 2 nights. We did this to save money of course. Glenn was great! So helpful in giving us maps & directions. The breakfast was enough to start you for the day. You got a choice of fresh cappuccino, tea or hot chocolate & juice also. An assortment of packaged toast, croissants, jam, nutella, etc. Room & bathroom were VERY clean!

The hostel was very clean and maintained. Glen was really very helpful and always cheerful specially even when there was a child traveling with us :-). We didn't feel far from home and would definitely love to stay there again.

room is very clean. It's locate in center of Rome. U cn go to Rome's hightlight places easily. There was protester in Rome 2 day ago. all metro was stopped but no problem! we walked 30 min. to our hotel.

Great place! Close to the train station and the Colloseum. Walkable to the Vatican if you have a half hour or so. Hostel owner was amazing he gave us so much good information about the city and was so pleasant and funny. Rooms were clean. Definitely would recommend staying here.

Really enjoyed our stay here and the staff, Luca and Glenn were extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely be recommending this hotel to others when they travel to Rome.

Glenn was amazing, breakfast in bed was nice, and the location was very convenient. We walked everywhere. The only place that was worth taking a bus or metro to was the Vatican however we still walked it so it was definitely do able. Glenn truly makes the experience for you!

I cannot sing enough praises for this small hotel. I recently stayed for 3 nights and had a superb experience. Exceptionally clean, rooms are good size, breakfast included, amazing central location and the staff treat you like family. The only downside is due to it's central location it's near a train station and can be quite noisy in the early morning when you're trying to sleep. The manager Glenn is a wonderful man and when in Rome again I would definitely stay here again.

As all other people who have styed here before have noted, Glen was amazing. This is not really a Hostel but more a four bedroom hotel. Every morning Glen brings in an AMAZING coffee and breakfast. He is alsovery knowledgable about Rome and things do to, where to buy tickets and how to get around. We want to thank Glen for his help. It was Glen that made our stay great. As long as Glen still works here, we will come back to stay at the Inn.

The family that ran the hostel were great. Very friendly and attentive. They kept our room immaculate and were quick to take care of anything we needed. Would definitely recommend this hostel. It is more like a hotel or b&b. You have a great room with your own bathroom.

Great hostel, was just what we were looking for. Had a minor problem with the hot water cutting out in the shower but oherwise, Ide visit again.
