It would be nice with a 24 hour reception, or a lest a reception until 12 midnight.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was a nice size however we could have used more pillows and the bed was not a foam mattress, quite hard actually. The safe was really small and anyone could have walked away with it. Overall the Room was a good value and location for the small amount of time we spent in it.

We received good arrival instructions, including a clear message (& a reasonable explanation) about paying more for arriving out of hours. In the end we were early & called the number on the door. Glen arrived quickly & was very welcoming. Breakfast was basic and it was nice to have it in the room but about half an hour late due to lots of guests leaving at the same time, so order it early if you need to leave at a specific time.

We got into Rome late in the evening and were met by Glen, who is an absolute gem. We had a 9:00 reservation for the Galleria Borghese the next morning and he brought us breakfast early so we could make it in time.

Great place to stay in Rome with great hosts that are very welcoming and helpful. Just a short walk away from Ancient Rome. Lots of space in the room and lovely and warm. Great little restaurant around the corner - Ristorante Tema.

I booked this B&B after reading the reviews online and I was certainly not disappointed. Glenn makes you feel so very welcome right from the beginning with his warm smile and helpful attitude. The room was spacious, private and very clean. There is a simple breakfast served every morning at a time of your choice. Located within walking distance from all the main attractions :D

Our stay at the Cesare Balbo Inn was great! Luca was very welcoming and gave us great restaurant recommendations as well as helpful directions. Glenn was also very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and it was nice having coffee/breakfast delivered to us every morning. The location is very convenient; we walked everywhere to all the main tourist sites, only taking the metro once (to the Vatican).

We had a phenomenal stay at the Cesare Balbo Inn. Luca and Glenn were two of the most hospitible people we met in Rome and we really appreciated everything that they did for us. The location is great and the value is superb. Furthermore, the rooms were spacious, clean and quiet. If you have the chance, STAY HERE!!

The hostel was in a great location-right near the train station, The staff was extremely helpful in giving us all of the necessary information to making the most out of our stay in Rome. The facilities were very nice, more like a nice hotel than a hostel. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Excellent location. Within walking distance of everywhere. We did not get one taxi throughout our whole stay. Staff were so nice and our room was cleaned daily. I would definitely recommend Cesare Balbo Inn to all my friends.

I arrived with two friends after reception hours (we let them know before) but they were very gracious about it! Glenn greeted us - he was so nice! He showed us our room (one of my friends kept exclaiming "I can't believe how clean it is!"), gave us a map, told us some good places to eat, showed us where everything was. The B&B was cozy, warm, quiet, safe, and very cute. No 24hr reception so if you have questions you need to call (but they're accessible). Would highly recommend this place!!

Great B&B, conveniently located in a trendy part of town just 5 minutes walk from the Colosseum and other historic sites. The staff are friendly and helpful and recommended several fantastic (and cheap) restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The building is extremely safe and the rooms are simple but comfortable and clean. Breakfast consisted of tea/coffee, packaged croissant and biscuits (nothing fancy but adequate). We had a great weekend at cesare balbo and highly recommend it!

I had an amazing time here. Glen the owner is the nicest guy ever- very helpful and welcoming. I felt like I was staying with family. The room was really clean and Glen brought us breakfast to our room. Not the best breakfast I've ever had but still great. It's in a quiet area so no noise problems. Really close to a bus stop, metro, and near Termini. Water wasn't too hot but wasn't too bad.
