Only stayed for one night, wasn't much of an atmosphere, but the beds and showers were fine. The location is really good, next to loads of restaurants and close to the night market.
Excellent value for the price! Stayed 2 nights here and for 400 baht a night you can't go wrong! Room is bright and big, clean and airy. Location is right in the old quarter which is the best part of the city.
We were stay there 4 nights for the new year. The hotel was cool, clean and good location. Also easy to go out and near by so many good place for breakfast and dinning.
Decent place. Beds and pillows were hard and uncomfortable, but that's hard to avoid in cheaper guesthouses in Thailand. I also didnt like that checkout time is only 10 am, seems a bit early. Everything else was solidly average and decent.
So, this is a quiet/non-party/not so famous hostel but totally worth a shot, especially for the rooms - clean, spacious enough. Dorm is a 10 bunk bed room, but with randomly 12 mattress, and toilet and shower in separated rooms (good!). Staff has limited English, but is helpful.
Great place to stay if you like quiet accommodations, did not see any other guests while I was there, and I was the only one in my dorm. Definitely not the place to go if you want to make friends. Hostel was clean, amenities were fine, wifi was fast, and the staff was pleasant.
My stay at Chada house was comfortable. The staff were lovely and helped me out. The room temperature was fine but the shower was cold but that's not too much of a problem in the heat!
