clean, but quite boring place. Is good if you just want a place where spend the night.

Loved it here, the people running it were so hospitable. If I was ever in Chiang Mai again I would definitely stay here. It is exactly what the describe it to be. Clean, practical and friendly. The food in the small restaurant downstairs is beautiful also. The people go out of their way for you.

I loved staying at the Chada House in Chiang Mai. The location is perfect, guests receive personal attention, the rooms are spacious and internet is provided free. My only complaint was that the bathroom was really grungy; black mold and dirt had built up all around the sink, which obviously had not been cleaned in a very long time. That was truly disgusting. But everything else was wonderful!

The location is really good, only 10 minute walk to the sunday walking street but probably a 20 minute walk to the night bizaar. The staff are very friendly and will help you book tours with reputable companies and also book your onward travel for you. We ended up using the Chada as a base and after we did overnight trips or visited Pai, we returned here! The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Also the head office for the Elephant Nature Park is just at the end of the street.

Good value for money if u just need a place to stay for the night. its not social and has no common area..more like a motel but pretty clean and hot showers with western toilets.

I have stayed here several times. It is a no fuss, no frills establishment which suits me perfectly. It is clean and comfortable, and the staff are helpful and reliable. There are cheaper places, but I know exactly what I am getting here, and standards are consistently good.

We only stayed 1 night but the value for money was very good. The hostal was very clean and the security was good. However the reason we didn't stay longer was because the mattresses were so hard, it almost felt as if we were on camping mattresses. Much too uncomfortable.

the staff is very nice and helpful. we didnt take the trek with them but we took massage classes and it was great! you can rent motocycle at the hostel directly which is very convenant. The location is great near some restaurants, bars and not so far from the differents markets of chiang mai.

The rooms are excellent value given the price. Although they are plainly decorated and simple, they are exceptionally clean. The curtains were thin and let a lot of light in, and the bed was rather hard, but I slept a lot better than expected. Pretty quiet but very nearby to restaurants etc. I would definitely stay here again: cheap but clean and comfortable, a lot better than some other places I stayed at this price!

We had no problems with this hostel until the owner found out that we had booked a trek through a different company. We had enquired about booking our room for a further night but were told to come back later as the hostel might be full. We immediately checked on hostels.com and found out that all rooms were in fact available! Not impressed with his change of attitude we went elsewhere!

Staff was extremely helpful and accomodating, especially when we needed to extend our stay beyond our original plan of 1 night due to a motorcycle accident.

Had a good stay here. Wish that there were some small lockers in the rooms to lock-up valuables.
