It is very out of the way location wise, but it is in a beautiful area and is very much worth the trip out there; The staff was very nice and there is a kitchen where you can cook all your food, yay :) there is also a laundry facility, which is handy. the rooms are nice. It has a cool cabin feel to it.

very cheap and very beautiful location. a bit out of the main town but bus running frequently and is walkable in an hour or so, needless to say walking back downhill is better than walking to the main town up hill

Oh my god my 6-day stay at Chalet Martin was absolutely amazing and my favorite part of my adventures in Europe so far. The Chalet is pretty much a super homey wooden cabin up in the mountains in snow. You really feel like you're part of a community when you're there and it's very easy to meet people and make friends. The staff are super chill and friendly and helpful. During mealtimes, everyone just hangs out around the kitchen making and sharing food. I will definitely be back sometime soon.

Very nice chalet place with very inexpensive snow equipement rentals! Very helpful staff, usefull kitchen with space to store your own stuff in baskets, spices are also available against a minor contribution. Maybe you also happen to be there with irish street folk singers and fidlers that give private concerts in the eventing ;-) Backdraw: no lookers, only little or no shelves in the rooms, no sink in the only toilet on the floor (for travelers with mooncup..).
