+The location is great.I was travelling alone and arrived late so it was a good choice since the streets are crowded until late in the evening and it is only 5min walking from the taksin square(where you can find a tram station and also where the transfers from the airport stops).Staff is always trying to help you and checking if everything is ok with your stay -No breakfast.If you are a woman travelling alone the shower isn't that great once you dont have any place to hang your clothes or towel

Hey, we stayed at chambers of the boheme at new year and found it to be just great! The rooms are funished beautifully with old beds and wardrobes conveying the character of former times. Everything is very cozy and tidy (especially the restrooms and showers). The location is just amazing! Just around the corner of taksim-square, the main street and non-touristy clubs and cafes. The owner is very caring and always around, if you need something and helps you planing your trips. 2 Thumbs up!

It's in a great location in Taksim Square with a metro stop that can take you down to the major attractions quickly, and the nightlife and restaurants nearby are wonderful! The hostel provided us with a cozy room with comfortable beds and warm comforters, helped us sign up for a Turkish Bath, and got us a taxi to the airport. The staff was very helpful!

Location is perfect! Ahmet is an amazing and very accommodating host. He provided us with some great recommendations within the city and definitely improved our stay in Istanbul. I would stay here again....you are right in the middle of all the action in and around Taksim.

Really nice hostel, with nice workers! I spent good time there! The location is the best, close to Taksim square! I recommend this hostel. Next time I'll come back again to this hostel for sure!!!

It's a great hostel in the center of the Turkish night life. SO many good bar just meters from hostel. BIt noise in weekend but this is the go out area (take ear-plugs or enjoy the music and sleep). Istanbul is fantastic you will see.Receptioner very helpfull and give good advices.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION !!! Best Location in Istanbul for the cost. Right on Istiklal cadessi next to taksim square. I booked a large sharing room but got upgraded to a 4 person room which was very nice and spacious. This place lacks the character of a typical European Hostel- But more than makes up for it by being more like a small hotel instead of a crowded hostel. Nice chap who owns/ manages the place- helpful and knowledgeable.

The highest plus of this place is the proximity to Istiklal Caddessi and close to transportation hub of Taksim. Also the staff was helpful to answer questions, but the the vibe seems to be indifferent with not much enthusiasm. The shower on the top most floor have no ventilation therefore there was mildew build up so it's not ideal. In addition, the w/c and shower are small so be warn. WiFi is also limited to the main lobby area. Overall, average place but highly rated location.

This hostel has one big advantage: its location! It is very close located to Taksim Square (

A really good location, i must say. Just so close to the main attraction street of Istanbul. The rooms are comfartable and big enough to feel well. All about the value for money is very good. It was not my first time here and it's gonna be last time.

Absolutely better than average hostel. Value for money. Good location, right in the heart of town, few steps from the main artery Istakal.

Istanbul is wonderful city. I love here and Chambers of the boheme is excellent. Very good location, and clean. The staff is very helpfull. Rooms are confortable . It is little bit noisy but location is wonderfull. I love there. Thanks for everything.

I will never choose another place to sleep in Istanbl, simply the best!

Overall the hostel was great. its location is fantastic cause it's central to all the pubs, clubs, shops and restaurants. the metro system is a 3 minute walk which will get you to the sites to see. the staff are friendly and dont hesitate to ask for help cause their great. breakfast, security and cleanliness are all excellent, i enjoyed my stay very much and would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The hostel is right next to a busy night club - so if you want to sleep while being in Istanbul this hostel is perhaps not the best place to go.

perfect location in the center of the town. easy to reach public tansport. safe and comfortable. the boss of the place is very nice person and glad to help you giving information.

Stayed for a week in October, really great hostel. Room was cleaned daily, a lot of character in the rooms and downstairs area and perfect location off istiklal which is where the best bars, live music and variety of food can be found in Istanbul. Only problem was some nights the live music from the bar down the street can be pretty loud but if that's a problem then maybe you should be staying in sultanahmet!
