I had an excellent stay in Chamonix! There was no staff was very helpful and pleasant. I stayed in a dorm room with three other people, and although the room is small you don't go to Chamonix to sit in your room. The facilities were wonderful and very clean. The kitchen is great if you want to save a few and cook your own dinner. i enjoyed using the hot tub and sauna. Overall this hostel has a great atmosphere and is a perfect place to stay!
Nice hostel/lodge . Easy to get to town by shuttle bus 2 minutes away or 15 minute walk. Hot tub great after a day on slopes , great tv Ann's chill out room . Bring a pair of ear plugs as there's always someone coming in at 2am but overall very happy with my stay.

Great hostel, very clean and modern, well equipped and decent sized kitchen. Hot tub and sauna were very welcome after a long day skiing, although it took 6 days for the ice surrounding the hot tub to be removed, thought I was going to go flying more than once! The staff are only around 4-7pm each day, but had no need to call them except for the morning someone flooded the place! About 10 minute walk from town, can catch the free bus from the Hospital and makes it 5 minutes. Would recommend.
Met some fantastic people from all over the world here, and the Receptionists, Nicole and Grace and lovely. One disadvantage is distance from city centre/slopes, there is a free bus, but is a 400m walk from the lodge, and if you want to enjoy Chamonix night life, it's a bit troublesome to get back home. Finding the lodge on the first night was hard as it is located on a tiny side street after the hospital. Would recommend as a good budget option, but convenience is lacking.
Very comfortable and enjoyable night spent here! Make sure you make full use of the hot tub and sauna!! Only slight downside is lack of information about walks etc when asked and no maps or leaflets available unless you go to the tourist office in town.

This place is a true gem. The staff are amazing - kind and knowledgable about the town. I consistently saw Nicole and Grace going above and beyond what they needed to do for the guests. The hostel has a hot tub and a sauna - amazing! And the free breakfast is pretty top notch. The BEST part, however, is the amazing kitchen. If you like to cook your own meals, you will truly be in culinary heaven. I really enjoyed my stay and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cham.
With low price, it still provides great travel experience. We do have great time.
The Railway Station close to the Hostel is called Moussoux and not Aiguille du Midi. It is just 10 minutes on foot from Moussoux to the Hostel.Alternatively a free Mulet Minibus to the Hospital (last stop) can be taken from stops all over the City, as well as the Chamonix Railway station.IMPORTANT to know, that in May and the first 2 weeks of October is off-season and all cable-cars, the Mont Blanc tram and the Montenvers train are closed for maintenance, except the cable-car to Aiguille du Midi
The ladies at the reception were very helpful, kitchen is fully equipped and good breakfast for free. Unfortunately the 2 Scottish in my room were super messy and inconsiderate, they came back around 1am drunk and made lot of noises. It was really unpleasant to find their vomits everywhere in the hostel the next morning, from the place we have breakfast all the way to 2nd floor, I asked them to clean the mess. Would be great to have hotel staff to take care of these problems.
