Honestly I would recommend to avoid this hostel unless your knowledge of Mandarin is on point. The place is also pretty hard to reach with public transport and it is not located close to any transportation hubs (which is probably why you are in Changsha in the first place, let's face it).

Decent location, near a bus stop. Cozy and friendly, but like all Chinese hostels both staff and customers are entirely local, with virtually no English spoken. Comfortable rooms, good common areas, and a quiet but easy vibe

Not the best. It's clean and secure, but that's all that can really be said for it. Very little English is spoken, and the staff who do speak some English are not very helpful. Toilets are all squats, and our bathroom door was broken. Wifi very poor. It's at least 3km to anything of interest. If you're stuck, you can stay here safely, but that's really all that can be said about it.
