We spent a night over there. It was not aesthetically pleasant, the furniture and the building were quite old. On the other hand, the breakfast was awesome and it took us 7 minutes to walk downtown. There were 3 shared bathrooms at the floor, so there was always a bathroom available. It is worth the money.

Horrible hotel and stay here at your own peril.I would leave the hotel and walk the cold wet wintry streets as a better alternative to staying in my room which i called "the tomb". Mouldly walls that would make you cough and sneeze, rank spongy carpet, rabbithole corridors is what you will find. A greasy smelly old fashioned breakfast cafe. BEst avoided at all costs and if on a budget stay in a hostel for half the price of this hotel and get a much much better experience and value for money

This place was really nice. Rooms were nice, security was good. The night we were there, the heater was broken, which made for a miserable night, seeing how there was a ice storm that day. But accomodations were good, breakfast and staff were great. Was a little ways from the bus station up hill, but worth the walk.

Basic what you pay is what you get. Clean but old and dated. If its just a room you want then its fine. Bathrooms are good. Breakfast good, staff friendly, rooms are just old but ok. Would recommed if on a budget like us,

I was asked to moved from Charing Cross Guest House, 310 Renfrew ST Glasgow, to what was described to me as their other Guest House, The Victorian House 212 Renfrew St Glasgow, on the night I arrived at charing Cross Guest House on the 25:11:2011. I was asked to leave The Victorian House because I was found to have alcohol in my room on the 26:11:2011 and did not return to either of the above Guest House again, "and never would." I was forced to book into another Guest house, McLays Guest House which is a

Better said this is a Hotel, rather than a hostel! I had my private room, with only 26pounds a night, including unlimited wifi and breakfast! Also this is very close to the town centre, good for food and shopping!
