This is not a hostel. There's no common room. There's no kitchen. I stayed for one night, and there was no chance to meet other travelers. There is a big pub, that you pass through to go upstairs, where there are many rooms with beds. I was at the second floor and there was an annoying noise over the roof, I had heard it for the whole night. No atmosphere at all, if you want to meet other people go in a bar, in a club, even in the pub at the ground floor. 20 Euros for this hostel is absurd.
Quite good hostel, maybe our room was a little bit cold and stinky, but not dirty. the two 1st floor toilets are too small for the three rooms that are close to them. showers not so bad.
Doors could not be locked and in the bathroom it was really dirty.

We booked a 6 bed dorm and got a 8 bed dorm. If you like to use soap, you have to bring your own, there was none in the bathrooms. But nevertheless we enjoyed our stay, because the atmosphere in the bar donwnstairs is really nice. The perfect place to meet new people and we also joined the free city walk form the Hostel and this was one of our best experiences in Bruges. So I would recommend the Hostel. I think it's a good value for money.
The proposal of the hostel is interesting, but the place is too old. They should refurbish to give their travelers at least nice conditions to stay. Besides, at my first nigth, there wasn't hot hater at the shower and it was around 10C outside. Next day in the morning I waked up early, so I had hot water, but I don't know about those that got their showers latter. There was just one light in the dorm and two power source.
Great one night stay in Brugge, good walking tour, comfy enough beds, fun atmosphere downstairs but quiet enough upstairs to sleep!
The recepcionists (specially the women) were very rude. There was no lockers and it was really easy to access the rooms for anybody. We didn't feel safe. It was impossible to sleep since the bar is downstairs and it was really noisy until 5 am.
The key and lock system is pretty terrible. Since the doors don't automatically lock, I came home to find my room completely open, that combined with the fact that anyone can access the rooms doesn't make the place seem too secure.
Great place to stay. I was worried after reading some reviews that I would be kept awake by the bar downstairs, but that was never an issue. The staff are friendly and nice, and it's just down tge road from the center of town. Definately would go back here!
This is your typical party hostel. If you're keen to get a good night's sleep, I wouldnt' advise staying here but if you want to party it up, then it's a good place to stay as the bar downstairs opens til 4am. Not the best hostel for lone travellers. The room I stayed in smelt damp and funny and the bedding didn't look super clean but it's what you'd expect from a basic hostel. Facilities are decent enough. Location was great, only minutes walk from the main square.
The main problem I had with the hostel was security. Anyone could walk in and out of the hostel without a key, and it was located right above a bar - the hostel and the bar had the same entrance. Plus, there were only 2 keys for each room, and no lockers. It was fairly sociable, I was always able to meet people in the bar and hang out, but the conditions in the hostel were not great. The bathrooms were dirty and the showers were not good. But hey, it is a hostel after all.
Very noisy in rooms as its above a bar. The hostel itself is ok, nothing special, but I've stayed in worse.
We stayed in a 6-bed dorm. The location is great, real close to the Belfort. The security is somewhat lacking - the luggage storage was this old movie theatre in the back and it seemed like anyone could just walk in there. Also no lockers in the rooms. The bathrooms downstairs are appalling but upstairs where the rooms are, they were fine. The breakfast was simple but nice, there were eggs which is always a level up for us. All in all, worked out good for us for a day in Brugge.
At first sign you'll be confused seeing noisy and fancy decorated rock-bar instead of reception desk, hidden inside. Way to rooms seems to built to confuse you a bit more, going up and down few times in this labyrinth you'll probably found yourself walking in circles. In rooms beds are terrible - small, old, broken and fixed few times, Also you can not sit on it - no space for head! Breakfast is bad, tasteless bread with cheapest spreads. Hint: you can print tickets and get boiled water at bar
Nice and friendly place ! We' ve really enjoyed to spend two days there. If you need an advice, answer will come with a smile :) Warmly recommended. Lise and Florian

It was ok for one night in Bruges, nice bar on the ground floor, the room was spacy and the location central, but the bunk beds were in very bad condition, they have been fixed a few times, even with an USB cable. Would not surprise me, if they break down soon.
Need to put locks on the showers and toilets adjoined to room 23.
Had to get money at cash machine to pay, spoke to me in grunts. Not helpful at all and when I was handing in piece of paper to get keys snide comments like "remember your number" Ok, don't have a system where we have to hand key in then. Charging for pool table huge cost and massive fine if you make a scratch on it. No kitchen but no breakfast unless you pay. Huge cost for drinks so paying for overheads twice, through hostel and then the pint. Brugge is an expensive waste. Gd walking tour though
It is a great location. So close to everything. Right above a really fun bar with great happy hour deals, that is always hopping with people drinking. They are open late, so if you are bothered by the bar noise, maybe not for you. I loved it. The facility was great for the price. Clean enough. The security was lacking. The whole front of the bar/hostel completely opens up. And there are no locks on the doors leading up to the rooms. Anyone could just walk up if they really desired. Butroomslock
Location is perfect! Close to everything and easy to find from the station. The rooms are very basic and the only area to hang out in is downstairs at the bar. Security is low as the door up to the rooms is unlocked and although you are supposed to hand in your key to the bar when out and collect when going upstairs I doubt everyone does. The rooms have to be locked from the inside so it is up to the last one In at night.
