At Charlie B's Backpackers you'll find quality budget accommodation in spacious single, twin/double rooms or dormitories with freshly cleaned, comfortable beds, heating and shared facilities.
Our lounges are superbly comfortable with plenty of couches, Sky TV, pool table, fuzeball table and a sizeable movie collection. Plenty of games and a big warm fire make this the perfect chill out place to sit around and make new friends.
The kitchen is bright, breezy and roomy, offering full facilities in a clean environment. In our cosy dining room we provide 24-hour access to the 6 Internet terminals plus the option of Telecom's wireless hotspot (wireless internet).
Charlie B's Backpacking Hostel has a large private outdoor area, which is the perfect place to hang out and unwind on warm sunny days in Christchurch. Barbeques, lots of tables and a water feature add sparkle to our pleasant outdoor atmosphere.
The 24-hour reception offers a small grocery shop for basic items, a travel shop for all the major travel companies and the friendliest staff in town.
Room types:
• Double and Twin Accommodation
Private rooms with freshly cleaned comfortable beds (all our doubles have queen-size beds), heating and share facilities.
• Single Accommodation
Private with comfortable single beds, these rooms come with fully made beds, heating and shared facilities.
• Dormitory Accommodation:
our dorm rooms provide freshly cleaned comfortable beds, plenty of space and heating. They sleep from 6 to 12 people and require sleeping bags although linen is available for hire.
• Quad Room Accommodation
As they describe no more than 4 to a room, they provide freshly cleaned comfortable beds, space, heating and linen supplied.
Note: Due to the high demand for backpacker’s accommodation in Christchurch during the summer months (October to March) we recommend that you book at least 2 days in advance during this period.
