The location is perfect, right on Koh San Road. If you close the windows you can block out the majority of the noise from the nightlife. Asked the staff a few questions during our stay and they would just stare at me with a blank expression. They were never helpful and were always on a phone/tablet. Only one toilet/shower inside which could be cleaned more. Can't fault the location though.

Most were limited English speakers but nice enough, especially the two sisters who seemed to run the place! Absolutely no ambiance to speak of, no friendly clients as in most hostels, and yet I decided to extend my stay, mainly to economize for the rest of the world. There's a lot to see on the streets of Bangkok. I started to feel at home, safe and secure! So peaceful for being half a block off crazy Khao San Road!

Hostel is located near Kao San Road, a very busy touristic street with a lot of Thai asking if you want a tailor made suit, a tuktuk or a t shirt. But the hostel is in a side street so the noise is not so loud there. It's about halfeay of the road, the hostel is a bit difficult to find for the first time.

I chose a triple room cuz I was travelling with friends. The room has no a/c and was hotter than outside we asked to change and they said there would be only a double room and they could put a blanket on the floor. The internet that supposed to be hi speed only works with the room's door opened and really bad. The shower is more like drops hunt, there's no water and it takes so long to take a decent shower. The manager is really rude and everything you ask is additional to the price you're payin

The location is good - down a small alleyway off Khao San Road, but the rest is awful. My room was literally a cupboard with a bed in it, locked with a padlock on the outside while the door was still open and easy to break into. No air conditioning and the windows were permanently open - not good at 3am when all you can hear are the neighbouring clubs. The staff barely speak English and aren't eager to try to help you, other than one lovely woman who did all the leg work for all customers.

I was very happy with this hostel, it is situated down an alley from the main road so it is in the heart of the old district and nightlife area, but far enough away to not be kept up by loud music all night. The rooms are simple but clean and have a standard lock and the option of adding your own padlock too. Staff are friendly and helpful, the shared facilities are cleaned at least once a day, and the food they make there is also good. There's also a nice open area to sit and chill out front

This is the single worst place I have ever stayed. Rubbish location, noisy, cramped, extremely rude staff. Do not stay here. They will also rip you off and overcharge you and have no customer service skills what so ever.

This hostel is value for money. The room was very basic but clean and is in an amazing location. It can be a little tricky to find as its behind the Kohsan road market but was surprisingly quiet. 6quid for a double and a private bathroom, you can't really complain!

The people at the hostel didn't speak a lot of english which complicated things a few times. No common area except the outdoor-area downstairs. Quite small rooms & could only find two bathrooms/showers in the whole facility for all people staying there...

Lovely and quiet for being on koh saan road. The room we stayed in was alright, couldnt open any windows though. Good value for money based on location.

Perfect location, 20 seconds off Koh San Road. The staff were always friendly although their English was limited. The menu wasn't great although there was hardly a shortage of other places to go. There wasn't a common room but there were chairs and tables outside to socialise with others. The room had a cockroach and a few lizards when we arrived but aside from that was fairly clean. There were rats and cockroaches outside at night but to be expected in bangkok. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent breakfast! Coffee/Tea with toast :) Is located behind the khaosan road so i pretty good location not that loud at night still able to sleep. Quite safe, if you're staying alone in a room / owning the whole room yourself make sure you bring along a pad lock so that you can lock your door (so that you feel more secured) but is all up to you. For the 2 nights i stayed there by just locking the door normally without any padlock and my things are still safe. Would stay again!

Right in the middle of khao San rd so very noisy at night. Music stops around 3am so if you're out until then it's fine but if you want to sleep before that you'll struggle. Excellent location if you want to go out along khao San rd with all the other backpackers. The staff were very helpful and went above and beyond. The rooms we're clean and large but the shared bathroom was a bit rubbish. Toilet and shower one very small room and shower wasn't great.
