Charung was in a great location, close enough to walk to the FMP beach, but far enough where you could get some solid rest. The lady was really nice as well. However, the bathroom was comical, with the door not able to close, and the shower head barely dripping out a few drops. Despite the ocean breeze nearby, the room also got very hot, so we had to sleep with the door open. Definitely go for the air conditioned room if you book here. I would return, but would get a nicer room.

DON'T STAY HERE. I have been travelling for 1 year now including 3 months in Africa and this is probably the worst accommodation I have stayed in for the price. For the same price you can stay at a nice resort just down the road with a pool ect ect. The rooms at Charung are filthy and insect infested, there are no windows just torn mosquito nets. The sheets had blood stains on them. STAY AWAY.

Good location, near haad rin but far enough to avoid pumping music all night. No cover on the bathroom drain so i had some centipedes and roaches. 8,000 baht for 7 nights was too much even during FMP.

Great location, on 5-10 minutes walk to beach. Room and bathroom extremely clean in our case. Proprietor extremely friendly, she was laughing and joking with us the entire time we were there. We booked one night through hostelworld for 195 Baht each. We booked remaining two nights directly with her, and she dropped the price to 175 each. Extremely good price for what it was. Drawbacks: (i) no WiFi (ii) only doubles, no twin bed, but spare mattress for floor provided, which was very flexible.

the worst place we have seen in one month of backpacking in Thailand. the view was fantastic but the room was very dirty. instead of a window in the bathroom there were only some holes stuffed with newspapers. that is why we had a lot of bugs in the room (spider, mosquitos). the door to the bathroom did not work anymore and there was no mosquito net to protect us while sleeping in the very uncomfortable beds. we had to party long and hard to be able to sleep there. only 10 minutes to haad rin.

The bungalow was in a very poor state; the sink was leaking, it was extremely hot with the fan, it was dirty, the bed linnens were dirty and had holes. There was no cleaning at all. The bungalow was awful, don't go there!

A nice family owns a lot of comfortable bungalows. They rent also scooter, do laundry, have a shop. It's not so far from full moon beach. Good comprise between positbilty to sleep and going to party quickly

The bungalow is located in a quiet area, just 5 minutes away from the Party beach. It definitely worth the money and very clean. I´d definitely book it again!

I would recomend the air conditoned rooms! It got really warm and humid in the fan rooms.. Staff was very friendly, and location was good! 510 min walk form the big party beach, so you could get a good night sleep! The rooms could need a bit of shining up, but as you don't spend too much time in your room anyway, it was ok! :)

Nice quiet location that is a 5 min walk to Haad rin beach. Reception staff are so friendly and I would recommend this place to stay.
