staff nice and helpful, nice, quiete location Interesting bed linen, you do need instruction to make the bed bit shabby room, but good enough for sleeping; I guess you get what you paid for- this is a hostel not a 5 star hotel. Overall good Thank you

Bedroom was full of midges overnight as window did not close. I got over 50 bites on one arm! Lots of cobwebs and mildew around windows and in the room. Kitchen - oven did not work. Had to either microwave or fry food which is no good for my husband who has a bad heart and needs to watch his foot intake The whole place could do with a revamp - wires hanging down corners and full of dust and cobwebs which make the place look very unkempt

Packed with friendliness, home-like and character. If you're looking for something fancy, this isn't exactly the place to go. However, if you fancy a place where you'll be encouraged to meet other travellers, relax and have a laidback time, make sure you visit this place. When I'm in Fort William, I would stay here again!

Brilliant hostel. The staff are really nice and friendly. The location is beautiful and it is a really nice, clean hostel. One of my favourites so far.

It was my third stay at the hostel and I shall not be returning. The cleanliness has been allowed to deteriorate significantly. The bathroom in particular was bad. When considering the cost of the hostel, buying a brekfast in the morning and taxi fares to and from Fort William, it would have been cheaper,more comfortable and more convenient to stay in bed and breakfast in Fort William.

Looks a bit messy and not realy clean.May this is due to the older accommodation (carpeting, sanitary)And you can´t open windows in a 8-bed-doorm!!

I did have a word with one of the wardens while we were there. we were a party pf 6 males sharing a dormartory. the main issue was the cleanliness. the dormatory was dirty [windows particularly] and the showeroom / tiolet was also not clean. even though i companed there was little diference the next day. shower full of disused shampoo bottles, hair in the drain, unemptied bin. just needs a good clean really. also alot of the facilties did not woprk. eg light in bathroom [1st floor], only 2 rings [out of 7 ]

very nice place to stay the staff are very nice and helpful, be careful to notice the check in time as you are not able to check in for most of the middle of the day. Enjoyed the loungeroom and a good kitchen

Excellent hostel - really enjoyed a good relaxing stay before my team started and completed a successful 3 peaks challenge. Definitely will use them again!

Good value and liked the general cleanliness of kitchen etc plus free coffee/tea and cheap breakfast option. Also liked louge with guitars,internet.

Really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was very pleasent and rooms were nice and clean. Shower wasn't up to much but didn't spoil our stay at all. Would stay again

Lovely staff. Showers with space for leaving your stuff. Free wifi working fine. Clean bedrooms with sinks inside. I only missed some lockers to keep safe your luggage.

The staff were brilliant, we arrived very late (5.30am) because of hire vehicle breakdown and we were left a clear note to direct us to our bedroom and in the morning we were very kindly given quite a lot of extra time. My only compliant would be the rubbish showers.

Arrived at 10.20 pm - someone waited for us to arrive. Hostel is close to Banavie train station and a short walk from a pub. Friendly staff. Locked our bikes in a bike shed. The hostel is kind of worn but it did the job. I liked it.
