The staff upon arrival (and throughout my stay) were friendly and helpful (aside from the morning of checkout, when the cleaners practically tossed us out of our room, even though we still had 45 minutes to check out). They don't have lockers. My only real complaint, is that there are no paper towels at all, so guests are expected to share the one hand towel provided in each toilet, as well as all the towels in the kitchen that are used to dry the "clean" dishes. Not cool.

Great hostel! Very friendly and helpfull staff, free soup every day (very good after a full day hike on the ice) and a great common room packed with good movies. Would definetly saty there again!

This place was okay, they messed up our booking though. We booked a twin room and they gave us a double and then said we must have booked a double despite having the booking print out there with us clearly stating twin room. They did then give us a twin room and made out like they were doing us a massive favour (by giving us what we booked) so we weren't impressed by that. However the room was nice and it seems a pleasant enough hostel/motel to stay in providing they get your booking right.

Great location and very helpful staff who were extremely helpful and gave us the run down on all the activities in franz. Sky tv and big living area was very social and a great place to watch the rugby. Super clean kitchen with lots of facilities and plenty room. Would stay here again, great experience.

Comfy room, we booked a dorm but had it to ourselves. The spa is a nice bonus, as are the DVDs to borrow (it rained the whole time we were in Franz Josef). We'd recommend this place to other people.
