Dear guest, We appreciate your opinion about our hostel. It helps us to improve. Regarding the complaint about playing loud music, we are resolving what happened. Yours sincerely Che Lagarto Hostel Buenos Aires

Friendly, helpful, enormous breakfast, good beds, lot of space everywhere, cleaning happens every half an hour and so on. The price was very cheap, but you payed almost the same amount for renting a towel....For one night that's much!

Only for people who like to party all day and night. It´s very loud and no atmosphere. The kitchen poor, only 2 pots and very hot. You can´t bring your own alcohol. The guests are sometimes annoying (loud and drunk). But it´s clean, safe and good location. Staff speaks English.

Would definitely recommend this hostel! I stayed in a few hostels in Buenos Aires and even though this was the cheapest, it was by far the best. Great facilities, staff are amazing and looked after us very well- went further than what we would expect from any hostel. Very clean, spacious but more importantly CHEAP!

Hostel had a fun atmosphere. Very lively. Lots of activities available each night of the week. Great patio and common area for meeting others. Music in common area was a bit loud at night, but never past midnight. Staff was helpful as well. Location in Centro area is central to most of the city. Would stay here again!

This is a great budget hostel but very loud music every night made it a bit difficult to sleep before 1ish. On our third night we were woken up by a huge argument over beds which culminated in a member of staff coming into the room, turning on the lights and barking a register at us at 3am.

I found it very hard to leave this place. It's very easy to meet people, and the parties they throw are great! The staff are very friendly, and the cleaners are really on top of their game! The area isn't the safest, but the location is very close to the center. Great value for money, however I wish they would stop changing the prices! One day I paid 33 pesos for a night, and the next week 50... And it wasn't even a holiday!

Really disliked staying here. When I arrived there were no lockers free to store any valuables. I have come to judge hostels on their security as when you are travelling having somewhere safe to store your belongings is your own element of privacy. Because of it I couldn't relax in the hostel knowing that anyone had access to my belongings. The bathroom was disgustingly dirty and the hostel and large 10 person dorms felt like a hospital or prison.

I had a great time in there. The staff is very friendly and the common area is so nice. The only problem was the internet, that was not working well.

very good hostel, in the center of Buenos AIres. Good rooms with private bathrooms very clean. Every night a different event, some very good option. Quite good staff, sometimes a bit buzy but some really good guys. A nice place to stay for a really good price. Very easy to access from the airport too.

I stayed only one day (one night) and it was Ok. The best is that it is very cheap, and they give you the basics. I slept in the 10 beds room, and it was noisy but because of one person snoring and the fan. So, for people who can sleep with noise is not problem....but if not you risk don't sleep well. The breakfast was Ok, but if you go too late some things goes to end and they don't replace. The worst were the lockers; some w broken, and they are outside the bedroom. The staff was good!
