Really liked location, seemed very safe. Not a party hostel which suited us. Was able to check in at 5am. Very slow to respond to my emails. No towels. Basic breakfast. There was an electric heater in the room.
The wifi never worked in my 3 days there!!!! Rooms were average and hot water ran out.
It's a good hostel: cozy beds, helpful staff and nice common areas. Shower isn't exactly hot, but neither cold. Besides that, breakfast is good and everything seems clean. I would recommend it for sleeping a couple of nights and chill out, because it doesn't feel like a party place.
Room with private bathroom was great, hot shower and great view over the city. They gave us a heater, which was nice! Breakfast is basic but ok. Good internet and wi-fi in the common room (none in our room but the staff mentioned that upon arrival) Great location to explore Cuzco! Very friendly and helpfull staf (thanks for the taxi, great guy!) Some points for approvement: the kitchen is a mess and doesn't invite you to cook. (Barking) dogs everywhere...but besides that, we even extended ;-)
Rooms were kept clean and staff were helpful. Bathroom was sometimes a bit dirty due to the number of people using it. Really good breakfast and a bar which has a gorgeous view of the whole city. Hostel is located 5 minutes from the main square where you can find everything you need. If you are looking for a party hostel then this isn't the place but you can definitely get a good nights sleep!
This was a disappointment after our nice experience with Che Legarto in Brasil. We have never seen the bar open, except for breakfast but that is not the time that backpackers are usually in their social mood. Nobody socialiced, everyone was sitting behind the computers (which had indeed a very strong internetconnection. Wifi was very strong, one of the few hostels in Peru that can actually handle a video conversation. Staff was very friendly.
Great, clean and welcoming hostel on the edge of town. Easy to explore the city from here. I was there in low season and there was not a soul present so I relocated somewhere more social. The staff was friendly. And the rooms were comfortable. Breakfast is super simple.
